"Body to move the club, not the arms."
Grt tips!
Great video. It's nice to see a YT video that just gets into it rather than talking for 10-minutes and then disappointment. Thank you. And, those must be the happiest birds in whatever area you filmed this. Made the lesson even better. I still paid attention.
So wrong!
Did Otters steal your mic??
Lots of good stuff but which tip do you use when you go out for a practice session or when you face a tough chip shot on the course. Too many ideas leads to uncertainty and uncertainty leads to self doubt. And what happened to Tim Yelverton?
Thanks, this will help
Sameish setup. I always feel like my lead shoulder is dragging club through than up to finish. Works pretty good for this hack
Best in person lesson I have ever taken. Lesson in morning, score dropped that afternoon.
Brandon you are standing in a closed position and the guy teaching is in an open stance so which is it ?????
Did you shoot this at a bird sanctuary?😂
Excellent video! Best tip I've ever got 😊. Thank you for beeing there for me❤
Wow Blake very cool, I will try it.
Did you forget about what you learned from Malaska about chipping? A lot of the same points. Especially the body’s center in front of the ball and no back tilt
Very good video with the best explanation of requirements/mechanics. Recently I had an ah-ha moment realizing that having the low point just past the ball was key (a little shaft lean that doesn't eliminate the bounce is ok). The only thing I would add is a slight pause at transition helps timing (conscious pendulum Tik …… Tok) and prevents stabbing at the ball. I mentally count through the steps on every shot … level shoulders/weight fwd/light grip/rotate open/tik…tok.
Nice job. It is a pleasure to have clear video of Blake demonstrating the drills.
Brendon, This looks to be a totally different technique than you were using in the previous Mike Malaska video.
Sure like to see Blake give his basics of the full swing too…I like his no-nonsense style
Keep your weight on your lead leg. There, saved you 5 minutes.
Again…exit left
if you feel more comfortable with a little shoulder tilt
.That was really illumintating. Really explains what too much hinge can do and how it can go wrong with the handle being pushed forward. That is exactly what happens to me.
That 10* open stance tip is GOLDEN. Now I see why my friends bottom behind the ball so much on their chips. They're square or closed setup
Good golfing tips, but I just as interested in what kind of birds we are hearing, very unique sound.
