BROOKS KOEPKA TOTALLY FURIOUS at the BRUTALLY SLOW PLAY AND SO AM I!!

WOW! There was no holding back from Brooks Koepka at the masters 2023!! Brooks was totally Furious With 1 Golfer particular golfer at the masters 2023 and i am not surprised!

Brooks Koepka is no fan of slow play on the golf course and he has not held back his feelings on this one! We have seen a lot of talk about slow play on the golf course, how what are golfers actually doing to stop it? Do they need a tutorial on How to Avoid Slow Play in Golf (PACE OF PLAY)!! Pace of play is always going to be a hot button topic when it comes to playing golf… but you never thought you would see it at the masters! I have had enough and i ill be providing some recommendations that I really hope golfers listen to this.

Was Brutally Slow” Pace Of Play An Issue At The Masters? I certainly think it was! There was a noticeable slowdown in the pace of play at the Masters in 2023, Brooks Koepka called it “brutally slow” and i am not surprised! Brooks was saying the group in front of them with Patrick Cantlay and Viktor Hovland may have been responsible.

  1. Shot clock in pro golf…… All clubs have deliberate Muppet golfers who dribble around the course in their mono speed setting and dont care about anyone else.

  2. If I could fade it 320 yards I would but most of us need the draw to get more distance

  3. Forget provisional and make mandatory an optional local rule: lost ball, two stroke penalty and play from the fairway near the place where supposedly the ball are

  4. Love ur passion, but, everyone is just flat wrong on this one. There's a lot going on here, so we'll move quickly. The course is really, really hard, and people had to take more shots, frequently from pine needles on a course that played completely different from every round you've ever played there before, until maybe late afternoon sunday. Fairways were mush, club selection was much more complicated as the greens were also mush, but then started drying. You gotta catch the wind somewhat like you expected when you set up. Let the wind come up or down or what have you. Oh yeah, every shot around that place is worth thousands of dollars. It's gonna take a minute. You'd need a minute too if ur driver came up 20 yards short because of no rollout, now ur hitting what? Shoot, I need a minute just thinking about it. OK, so usually you hit say a 7, but today it's maybe a 5, do i want to hit the 5? Maybe an 80% 4 and keep it under the wind? If it's at my back a hero 6? Gotta be say, back shelf and the greens are silly putty? Lots of guys needed lots of extra minutes, they missed a million putts on those crazy greens, which i thought was the point. Koepka was marking 2 footers, and how could you blame him. Lot on the line and already hitting on the back of the next group.
Everyone complains about slow play, I dunno, my local isn't too bad, but even when it is slow, just, take your time then and enjoy your round. Take an extra minute reading your putt. Fix a couple ball marks that aren't yours. Find a ball in the woods. Respectfully flirt with the cart girl. I know everything in every pocket is askew, put the balls back in sleeves or tees in bags or whatever. Take 6 extra pencils out of there, how many do you need Frank? Why do I have 13 ball markers? Hey look, there's 2 rain jackets in here somehow. We'd all like to be able to just hit right away, but empty golf courses are a worse problem, I assure you. As long as no one is being slow on purpose or disrespectfully somehow, drunkenly or whatever, someone up there is shooting 106, and that guy is holding up all of us, and guess what? That's just fine. You ever play with a guy who struggles to shoot 110? Like, genuinely tries, doesn't seem that uncoordinated kind of person? I can't let myself be irritated that I play faster than them, guys, some of them take literally 50% more shots than you, and they're doing their best. There's just no way for a player shooting 105 to not be in the way of a low 80's, much less if you shoot scratch. Don't let some imaginary device (time) tell you how to enjoy golf.

  5. Tiger Woods in his prime never complained like a biotch. He just wooped motherfuckers asses and moved on to the big check. Fuckn millionaires bitching about this bullshit. Give me a break. And I like BK, but he's a lil bitch for all that bellyuachin'. How did Rahm make it through? and didn't BK have the fucking LEAD going into Sunday. Koepka please.

  6. You cannot allow golfers to play of a 30+ handicap and still expect a quick round. I play of 14 and have experienced slow play numerous times.

  7. See if I’m on tour playing for millions of dollars I’m for sure taking my time on each and every shot.

  8. Players should play tees to their ability, way too many play back tees and can't even get to the fairway

  9. Additional suggestions….

    1. Limit participation of other group members in searches for lost balls. It is providing assistance , and too often I see several group members at once all looking, when they really could be advancing their own balls to the green.
    2. In a four-ball, the first two to putt out must leave putting green, proceed to the next tee and prepare to tee off while the remaining two finish up. (My club advocates this)
    3. Clubs play more 'Par' competitions to eliminate the many extra shots on every hole where players continue to play simply for one nett bogey stableford point

  10. Slow players should walk between shots faster. I have left a club because of slow play, fourballs that play as individuals should be banned unless it's a club comp.

  11. As a 21 handicapper… I don’t muck around . The problem is mid handicappers. Think the can hit it longer. Drive then wait for the group in front to clear the green . Ave time 4-4.5 hours. However. Easter tournament , Ambrose took 5.5 hours

  12. “He’s a national disgrace?” Just a quick observation. You have a fantastic thing going here and I’ve watched your stuff for a few years. But when I see a clickbait title like this from someone who otherwise does an excellent job and makes great observations, I’m instantly reminded of the throwaway channels who create content with AI and only care about the clicks. The title “He’s a National Disgrace” with no further comment on WHO is a national disgrace or explanation of the title, tells me you did it as classic clickbait. I don’t appreciate being baited with the promise of a story that doesn’t pan out. It feels insulting. Otherwise, keep up the good work. 🤙

  13. What is "absolutely painful" is…how "Brooksy" is doing his impersonation of loser greg norman. This year and 2019 will be the demons that keep him out of the champions locker room!

  14. My question is why does “slow” play matter, isn’t it about enjoying the game and being outside? If I’m faster because I play alone the majority of the time the group(s) in front of me allow me to play through. IMO too many people worry about fast. Just slow down enjoy the game, drink your beer, smoke your cigar, hit on the cart girl or whatever just stop.

  15. Slow play is always handled quickly by the marshal on our course. You can play as slow as you want but your not going to hold anyone up.

  16. Nobody likes slow play…. But it's nothing compared to your annoying voice! And btw who plays in a 3 ball in the Saturday comp?

  17. These guys get paid millions of dollars to play golf. They should not complain about about pace of play. Lol

  18. Lower your expectations before you go to the course, especially on a weekend. Adopt a zen mindset. It's a game for enjoyment. If you're going to get worked up don't play golf.

  19. Toughest conditions on one of the toughest courses in the world, 2 man groups shouldn't last more than 4.5 max. hours for 18 holes, these guys are Pros. not always playing out of the shit!

  20. Here is how to fix slow play on the PGA. If you as a player feel that play is slow ahead of you, call up the official and have that group put on the clock. Duh

  21. I play by myself a lot on weekdays. Always get groups of four 60 year olds in front of me who refused to let players through. I hit the ball consistently 300 yards and shoot in the 70s routinely. It’ll take me literally 2 minutes to be let through, get the fuck out of the way.

  22. My golf club is the home of fast play. The members will embarrass you if you take more than three hours and 45 minutes to play the round. The usual time is 3 1/2 hours. Anything over four hours is unforgivable.

  23. I f…ing hate senior days at golf courses where everyone lines up one the first hole with gapped tee times. I quit on the 7th hole of 18 the last time I played. These guys have nowhere to be all week, every day. They don't even get near their ball until each player hits. 2 hours to play 7 holes is nuts. No restrictions on carts also.

  24. He should be furious about his/ and one of the biggest chokes in Masters history!! That's what Brooks should be furious about… take some personal accountability.

  25. Here is controversial for you. Back in the 70’s when I started to play ( admittedly as a junior) you had to had a pro assess your capability to get around the course. You were encouraged to have lessons and practice to get your standard up. Medals were in 3 balls, 3 hours 30 was fine, 3 hours 45 report to the secretary’s office. Simple. As juniors, we scooted round in 3 hours or just under. Let’s be honest, prepare before you get to your ball. It can only be one of 2 clubs, a hard one of those or a softer one of the other. You can see what. You are faced with as you approach your ball. Just before you assume I was a best average, in the days of persimmon and blades like butter knives with balata balls, I was off 3 or better from 15 years of age. We just did not hang around for fear of being banned from a comp or 2. Less comps in those days, lots more roll ups or “ friendliest”. Told you I was controversial. No need for any round to take more than 4 hours.

  26. So so many slow rounds,we see the old have to backtrack to get their carts and bags! It does lead to ling play

  27. LOL! LIV doesn't have slow play because it is a 48 man field, with shotgun starts! NOT real tournament play,

  28. On a busy day in Myrtle Beach especially when couples are playing 5 to 6 hours it’s brutal and not fun no regard for rules. Play boogie golf you don’t deserve to putt lying 6 in the fairway on a par 4 par threes are even worse watched a woman take a 12 on a par 3 it was pathetic

  29. Calling someone “ liv golfs “-………. ……………. What’s your point. They are golfers. When you create or draw attention it causes divisiveness

  30. YOU JUST MADED A LONG BORING VIDEO ABOUT THIS SO WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR POINT THIS TIME RERUN RERUN RERUN BORING

  31. I think this was set up by the PGA tour . Probably told Cantley to play slow because they knew Brooke is a fast player so that ramm could take advantage of it. I'm a golfer , I'm at kind youl fast player but when I wait on the t-box for 5 to 10 minute it's really affect my game 2

  32. I agree with Koepka, but the tour shouldn’t even be letting these Saudi backed garbage league players play in the majors at all. F$$k those guys. Koepka is a tool anyway.
