  1. It’s not snooker v pool no comparison here , snooker players can beat pool players but pool players will never beat snooker players

  2. That is an absolute kitchen sink full of dishes, either break-dish or reverse-dish.
Glad to see Mark Allen up to the challenge against Mick. And Mick in prime form, too. This match was an absolute dynamo.

  3. I love watching these 2 amazing players. But just like most matches with fairly equally skilled players, the luck of the break ruins any ability to see who was clearly the better player. I've said it time and again, if they made it so that the person who breaks always gets another shot after the break regardless of whether they make a ball or not, you would see 90% of the luck of the break removed, and pool would become a much better and more interesting game. You wouldn't see 30 different guys winning tournaments then, the top of the rankings would solidify themselves with more consistent results for the best players. We need to cure this addiction to break ego. I will continue to advocate for this rule change for the rest of my life.

  4. Looks like Marks gained weight again, maybe travelling? Thought he was trying to lose it due to mental issues.

  5. I'm a very poor snooker player but I would bet I could give any pool player a solid game. As the commentators said it's classed as a mickey mouse game. The reason why it's the easier game is they ball hits cushion but still goes in the pocket so accuracy is not the be all and end all. But in snooker if you hit the cushion first very rarely does the ball pot, plus playing on a 12ft. by 6 ft table accuracy is key and safety play is a large part of the game. Not so much in pool. Snooker players win pool tournaments pool players don't win snooker tournaments👑👑👑👑

  6. One noticeable difference between pool and snooker is that pool players have far more control of the cue ball. Snooker players can often pot their way out of trouble but they come unstuck having to accurately navigate the cue ball around a much smaller table.

  7. So the 0 time snooker world champion is basically equal to the 6 time pool world champion. Says alot really.

  8. I wonder why folks enjoy playing on such a tiny table. Other than snookers there is very little challenge to it. Would enjoy watching them play the pool games on a 6×12 table.

  9. Micks bottle is unbelievable he just focused on the balls not the hype about pool v snooker nonsense. If Andy Murray entered a table tennis tournament I wouldn't expect him to win it its not his game. Snooker players are great cue men but pool is a positional game and I personally think that's why Mick won

  11. I stopped watching when Mick potted Mark's Yellow, left him snookered behind a red, then went on to win the game, what a load of BS.

  12. I really wish Allen would sort out that "Ambassadors of the Green Baize" sponsorship tag. The apostrophe isn't needed and looks shit.

  13. Snooker players are very capable of a break dish but they will only win if they can do it more than their opponent. Snooker is different because both players are pretty much guaranteed a shot.
