  5. Great vid guys. Interesting bit about Barnsley trying to keep Gerry. Many reds fans quick to accuse the club of always selling our best players to the first bidder, but there’s always a lot that we don’t know about.

Great Player Gerry. Always remembered as a cult hero, and he still has that glint in his eye 😀

Great memories of John Mcginley as well, from when we were neck and neck for promotion. Good times

  6. You may have accidently discovered one of the great centre half partnerships that never happened.

    Gerry Taggart and Wes Brown.

The stories regarding Chris Fairclough had me in stitches. Can't wait for part 2. I also remember on several occasions being in Bolton on a Saturday night seeing John and Gerry pissed as farts.

  12. The tackle iin the QPR game was on Steve Slade and remains as Gerry says, one of the best tackles you would hope to see. Absolute textbook.

Top man Gerry, all time hero at BWFC

  13. Oooo Gerry Gerry!! Still got the baseball cap, one of my heroes from that time hard as nails but had a touch of class too, could never question his commitment and why would you they don't make em like that anymore 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

  14. As a Man City fan since the mid 1950's this chat with Gerry brought back many fond memories of the second division to the rise of modern day greatness. Just BRILLIANT! Thank you Liam, John and of course Gerry.

  16. The Pompey player on loan from Spurs would have been Paul Moran I'm sure. He was quick, so Tags did well to get close enough 🤣

  17. Thats why lilleshall rehab was so popular back in the day because clubs never had the physios to deal with many injuries
