They’d be crazy to trade up. They have little draft capital.
They basically cleared the books for 2024 as far as cap space so they can sign more free agents for next season after this one. There oline will still suck and because of that they will be lucky to be above .500. As a fan since the early '70s I would be ok if they took Hooker at the 23rd pick since they are setting up for the season after this next one.
Defense should be the #1 priority…our offense is good we won because of our offense last yr but we lost close games because our defense was wack…if I was kwesi I'd go CB for first rnd and then DT after

My guess is they trade back for more pics and also try and trade a guy or two for pics like Cook, Hunter ect

Giants won a SB with a team that was outscored. #31 defense is the problem NOT a top 10 PFF rated #4 Pro Bowl QB who is in his prime who will be fine for MINIMUM 3 years.
Duke Shelley is VERY GOOD and he was very cheap getting rid of him was DUMB ASF move. PFF #2 rated QB.
Vikings need depth – and that means NOT TRADING UP! Trade down and get more 2nd/3rd/4th rounders. That's the reality of this team.
The Vikings biggest need is either for Florio to put a cork in it or have him become a fan of a different team.
We made the playoffs with christian ponder, we don't need cousins as much as people think. If we let cousins go we gain 40 mil in spending on defense and can go for a rookie or bridge qb and still make the playoffs.
