Having watched what was our 1st child die right in front of us (unexpectedly came out at 25 weeks and our hospital dropped the ball in many ways). If you want kids and something like that happens, it changes you for life. I hope that Kip and Penelope heal over time. They seem like they really care about each other and hope for nothing but the best for them in the future.
