Is it time for a "Shot Clock?" About 4 years ago, the European Tour used a 30 second timer in the "Shot Clock Masters in Austria. Each group had access to the clock. What do you think of a Shot Clock on the PGA Tour? Perhaps it could be stretched to 60-90 seconds. Let me know.
If you want to be a champion then you have to endure champion shit. Including slow play. Sounds like an excuse for Brooks choking to me. Especially considering Rahm suffered the exact same conditions as him but came from behind to win.
I think both Brooks and Cantlay were right in their post-Masters comments. Cantlay does play unbearably slow but there wasn’t a big gap between them and the group in front of them. The whole field was slow.
