  1. They have to make a profit to pay the fighters at the very least,as far as I'm aware that's where Katie will make her money ,not a set price from Eddie for the fight

  2. I follow boxing, I’ve never heard Eddie Hearn once about stadium costs. Gavin said 50,000 tickets, Katie would sell 80,000 tickets in Croke park 3 times over €60 quid a ticket I’d be more than happy to spend more €60 on a ticket to go a generational fight and the first fight since Muhammad Ali.

  3. The issue is it's boxing and they have set the security constraints almost above airport level which is not cost effective nor attainable

  4. Fill the stadium? Boxing is a big sport in Ireland and we never get proper fights here and then on top of that it's Katie Taylor. It would easily fill full capacity a few times over.

  5. The Irish are very deluded. They would seriously struggle to sell out Croke Park. Boxing isnt as mainstream in Ireland as it is in the UK. The ‘casual’ market isnt anywhere near as big. The MTK / Kinahan reputation turned a lot of people off boxing. The government and Gardai will have no interest in backing a boxing event in Dublin. There aren’t enough Garda in Dublin to start with, without a potential boxing event. Everyone blaming Eddie Hearn for wanting the numbers to stack up, when realistically this is exactly why ROI don’t have big events. Dublin is a complete dump as well, a horrible filthy sess pitt that is grossly over-expensive.

  6. How can the Irish say Eddie Hearn is money hungry when its the Croke Park directors that are charging 3 times the price Wembley stadium?! Eddie Hearn has held hundreds of fights all over the world and got a deals done that satisfied everyone involved.

Yet when he tries to get a deal done in Ireland at Croke Park, they make it so it doesn’t work. As usual, the Irish want to blame everyone but theirselves for their problems.

  7. Katie is an absolute legend. She'd sell croke park out in minutes. The 3 arena is too small. So many fans will lose out in getting tickets.
Give Katie and the fans what they deserve. Eddie would want to full the finger out and get it done. Don't rob Katie of her dream homecoming She's done so much for boxing now it's time to give her something back ☘️🇮🇪💪

  8. Usual OTB nonsense when it comes to boxing. Why the soyboy attitude toward capitalism? Would you rather it was Kinahan to Eddie Earn from Billericay, 5 amd 0, 4 by way of, no footage available…..
