to me it was poatan who came from kickboxing and was like im going to prove izzy is an impostor, like poatan was the antagonist for me. And izzy had to face some difficult and painful things and show some strength to prove he's a deserving chmap and what. he did in the ufc he earnt it. Izzy got over confident when he started paintisng his nail, with his youtube channel and doign bullshit, his performances dropped. He wasnt the same izzy that picked fighters apart in the ufc literally knocking everyone out with that calculated style he was exchanging a little then it was cardio, his performance dropped. poatan knocked him out, someone knocked him out in his own game the stand up game. Izzy needed to bring older versions, and strength and hunger from the past and face emotional difficulties, support himself good, to bring the izzh version that we know was there that picks people apart and is a furious calculated precise and technical striker, even izrael fans supported him, because we knew he had that version in him. This was a great story emotionally to witness , and to me pereira was the arrogant one who came from kickboxing and was going to prove izzy was "the impostor" which , ofcourse, he isnt he earned what he did in the ufc like he earned his place ther ebecause he ran though that division pikcking people apart id like to see pereira vs whitaker or move up a division. Very happy for izzy because iknew he had that style bender technical striking precise countering smart long fighter in him. He just wasnt showing it, he got to cocky and disrracted painting his nails and doing bullshit like that. For me i gotta stay getnel and true to my inner child and take my space were worth it, with gentleeness humor love and respect and choosing safe enough other people . and letting my true self inner child shine through me, were worth it, and choosing safe enough people .
