Erik Karlsson is a great hockey player but he's definitely not the best defenseman this season or any other.

So sick of Canadian hockey bias from these two. There is NO BEST. Many would not take Makar over Hedman. Compared at the same age Hedman is superior it's subjective. Matthews is excellent defensively. He plays a 200Ft game McDavid is a defensive liability. It's subjective. 62% of the league is non Canadian and growing. Great international game.
