What nobody tells you about STRIKING your driver straight

This is massively misunderstood area of the golf game! I know for a fact that nobody tells you about striking your driver straight because we all look to improve the complex mechanics of the golf swing ahead of STRIKE! Your strike location has a huge impact on how you hit the golf ball straight with driver! Hitting the driver straight is key to hitting the golf ball longer with driver! This is a SIMPLE tee trick that you have to use to STOP hitting the teo or HEEL with your driver!

PGA Golf professional Alex Elliott & Top 5 golf monthly coach shows you What nobody tells you about striking your driver straight and this is KEY to hitting the golf ball longer & straight with driver. for me this is the secret to hitting the driver LONGER & straighter and how to hit the driver longer and straighter!

  1. Thanks to your videos, I hit the ball straight….most of the time lol. However, straight isn't always what is needed. How do you shape shots, intentionally. Thanks for all the advice you give!

  2. Love it Alex! I've constantly hit off the heel. I started lining the toe of the driver with the golf ball to change my strike location. The way you put makes so much sense.

  3. Maybe I'm not the only one, but I'm not again ever looking at any video that starts with " 98 % 0r" "or nobody tells you that". Annoying clickbait! (88% of your subscribers agree with me!)

  4. on the range I am not a toe hitter, but as soon as its the real thing and i am playing for score… bam im off the toe and the ball goes dead right. on the range with a garmin i have a 102 club head speed with a 245 ish drive. i know its just between my ears but how can you bring the range to the game?

  5. Hi Alex. I follow you regularly and enjoy practicing. My question is — while take away ( Back swing ) which hand or arm is dominating ? and the same while coming down to the ball — which hand or arm is dominating ? Please share . 🙏 thanks

  6. Very interesting. I do tend to hit towards the heel, especially when I try to hit harder. I also frequently spray the face with foot spray to see where I’m striking it during practice. And in play, I’ve been slowing my pace or tempo to improve my striking the ball. And the slowing of my tempo has really helped my striking the center of the club face and I’m hitting straighter and 90% fairways. But I’ve been losing 15-20 yards of distance on my drives.
I’ll try this tip and see if I can the speed back along with the center strike. It does seem to make sense to me. Thanks for your simple explanation and approach to improving the strike.

  7. Finally a great video thatbwill improve peoples game. Could you do a video on how to take your driving range performance to the course pls?
