  1. This talk about Dublin being all Ireland contenders is rubbish. Stick them in Ulster or Connacht and they don’t come through it. Leinster is so pathetic they have a bye to the all Ireland series

  2. Galway did give away a lot of frees, but that will happen when you yank back anyone who gets goal-side of you. Conroy won three frees in front of the posts when he came on, as his marker couldn't stop him bursting past him and was reduced to fouling. It's almost like it's a part of their defensive system, preventing shots on goal…

  3. We genuinely do need more Paudi Clifford's in the game. Fellas saying exactly what they think. Far too much fakery in this country where the thought police tell us what to think and say. As for the football I thought Cavan played some great stuff in the second half under a great manager in Mickey Graham. Talking of great manager I think Mayo might have hit the jackpot. Was great looking at Con O Callaghan doing his thing in Croke Park again and after the game effortless switching between Irish an English in post match interview.
