Chelsea sacked Potter was another panic move by the owner group because Julian Nagelsmann is available now and Spurs is gong for him.
Wasn't upset at that City loss. Not happy, of course, but City were absolutely fantastic. As for Grealish, I've always been on the banter bandwagon about him, but hats off in this case as that was a mature, world-class performance from him.
Soft spot for Brighton as they were my first Championship Manager 01/02 team, and I – an Aussie – even bought a jersey during their Zamora days. So I also had a soft spot for Potter, and really hated the criticism he was getting at Chelsea. That said, I've rarely watched more than highlights of Chelsea, so I can't debate on whether the memes of him playing 17 different formations in a half were accurate lol. But, it was also my feeling that they seemed to miss clear chances or hit the woodwork at least half a dozen times every game. Not much Potter could do about that!
