  1. would it be a good thing if the managers are only allowed to be changed in the transfer windows as the players are?

  2. Possibly the only career where you are fired for not (in their opinion) doing a good enough job, but another club will welcome you with open arms. Do they also need two references like I do?

  3. And why did it happen? -> Because of Julian Nagelsmann und you don't even know if you will get him 😀 wtf! I am so happy and thankful for being a Gooner!!!! <3 COYG!!!

  4. Unfortunately such business the financial pressure to stay in the Prem that its treated more of a business now than it ever has.
Chelsea problem, same as it has been for a while…a blind man could see it. Leicester simply not enough quality in the squad,Vardy now coming to the end of his career, no one replacing him as a regular goalscorer. I don't have too much sympathy for either manager….the average worker who loses their job is in a bad position, with football managers, they always walk into another job within months. No other business rewards failure.

  5. Most signings in football are senseless making departures even more obvious before they take place.

  6. Long run of bad form = lose your job. What else is new? Now they can go home and count their millions……

  7. Brendan rogers has spent a fortune there and doubled the wage bill. Now maybe he wasn't the one buying players but it was like his time at Liverpool. Questionable purchases and the wheels fall off

  8. Managers getting sacked hasn't been a story for many years now. I have grown tired of the managerial merri go round. Normally when you get sacked from your job, it means that either you have been negligent or you have been operating at a level above your capability. So you then have to go and develop the skills needed to be better. In footballing terms this would mean going and managing a team in a lower league. However in football all that seems to happen is these managers just go straight to another premier league club at the same level. Its mental. Normally employers wouldn't be keen on employing somebody who was sacked from their previous role. I dont get it. They are either a good manager able to operate at this level or not. If they have been sacked surely that means they are not!? I remember many years ago Ramos was the Spurs manager and he was terrible and was sacked. His next job was manager of Real Madrid who were probably considered to be the best club side in the world at the time. If he wasnt good enough for Spurs how can he be good enough for Real Madrid?!

  9. Football is mad to the extent that you can lose 8-9 matches in a row and get the sack.

  10. there should be a limit on number of sackings per season
but in my view a manager should only be allowed to be sacked at the end of the premier league season

  11. Sharer u cant talk about stupid money and risky investors. Ur ownership are involved in human rights issues

  12. Still no concern about a team being owned by the inexplicably wealthy oligarch family who own a controlling interest in LCFC.
Somehow, some oligarchs are "lovable" and others are "loathsome".
Have a look at the history of the wealth behind the King Power duty free empire…. How licences were granted and what the business history of the family was…. All rather rum.

  13. Give Mourinho this squad you will see instant results!!!! Give Conte this quality you will see instant result!!! Give any top manager those Chelsea players he will cook 🧑‍🍳!!!! But give any British manager aside Sir Alex they will fail because they are too biased with their selection!!! Potter is a pundit not a coach for Top Six he is a championship manager!!!!

  14. ALL of these people you see here…are multi millionaires. The formula for success is easy. The stupid fans pay for their fabulous salaries. Easy.

  15. Feel bad for Potter, given just 6 months, 15 players and NO pre season is an impossible task even the best manager in the world would struggle. Ye results were bad but he should of been given at least 1 year to try and do something…

  16. Potter was a twit to leave Brighton. Yes, he's made a packet but achieving something with Brighton with their limited budget would have been a greater demonstration of his abilities than at Chelsea where you are give so much money and help that even I could manage them and get some results!
