  1. I like these two, but I don't think they really understand why Tottenham fans were unhappy with Conte. Most Spurs fans don't really care about top 4 unless they make it on the expense of Arsenal. What the fans want is a coach who has a positive attacking game style and (for the love of God) don't put out weakened teams in the cups. Tottenham has not seen a trophy since 2008. Winning a League cup or FA cup and finishing 8th is much better than finishing 4th for 10 years in a row without any silverware. Tottenham might be in the top 4 now and, technically, punching above their weight, but Conte/Stellini-ball is atrocious to watch. You often finish the game, even if the team narrowly won, with a feeling of "what's the point of watching this?".

  2. Its not culture anymore its Spursy Heritage.. Levy working very Hard to protect the Club history.. if u think about it that what made Spurs famous worlwide

  3. This is what happens when you get to a champions league final with players like Kane, Son, Alli, Eriksen and Moura but you don't invest and improve the team to take them over the line.

  4. Biggest waste men team in the premier League. Don't have any excuses other than lazy players

  5. The amount of bias the English pundits have towards Harry Kane is laughable and a little bit cringey at this point.

  6. Carragher's wrong when he says it's the manger who changes the culture. Yes, Klopp & Arteta were bought in and changed some of the culture, but they also got backed in the transfer market with the players they wanted. Pochettino was building something at Spurs and then Levy doesn't spend a penny in three consecutive transfer windows. There is the difference. The funny thing is, if Levy was Levy's boss then he would have sacked him by now.

  7. You can say Kane isn’t selfish but in the context of what a Conte was talking he is. Collecting personal accolades and the team is rubbish regularly. He’s the captain

  8. As a Spurs fan (season ticket holder) all I want to see is good attacking football. A lot of hysteria in recent years has been focused on yEAh bUt nO TRopHiES.

People are quick to forget that Man City have had somewhat of a monopoly on domestic cups in recent years, Chelsea before that. So winning trophies is always against the odds for Spurs and they have been unlucky on occasions as well.

Appointing managers who think they’re doing us a favour by sinking to ‘our level’ has not helped. Our best recent managers Jol, Redknapp, Poch came from smaller projects – Spurs need to do that again, with someone of ideas of attacking football and no baggage

  9. For all Levy’s perceived faults he’s delivered a world class stadium and training complex and the club is extremely well run. Be careful what you wish for look back at the past with Irving Scolar Sugar and that crook Venables. I don’t know what the answer is I suspect the club will be sold within the next couple of years see where that goes.

  10. Straight up jumps at the defense of Harry Kane, it's a team sports, Conte couldn't have rubbished the whole team and singled your crowned prince as the exception, this is shameful punditry

  11. Once he spoke out against the board he was done. In terms of where spurs are i think thats where they belong..

  12. Spurs have become too reliant on Kane. Goals aren’t coming from other players. They should of sold him to City when the offer came and used that money to refresh the squad. Now it’s too late because no one is going to cough up big money for a 30 year old.

  13. Spurs have always been special….. other teams are destroying their opponents…… Spurs are destroying their managers 😆😆

  14. Carragher spot on. Tottenham need a top manager/coach who changes the culture top to bottom not frauds like Conte and Mourinho who are only care about their CVs and trophies.

  15. I’ve missed these clips! Stop making them for UK region only! ⚽️

  16. When Kane retires having won no club honours, but can sit on match of the day with the tagline ‘highest goal scorer in the PL era’ etc, will these pundits still be knocking one out over him? His team wins nothing despite his goals. Break down who he scores against, is it in the crunch games with silverware on the line; games against the top 6?????

  17. If we're honest it goes back to poch.

We had an unbelievable squad under him, but under him alderweireld, vertonghen, winks, rose, Alli, dier combined dropped from over £200 millions worth of players to £70 million at most. (yes vertonghen and alderweireld had their age factor into that but their form fell off much more quickly than it should have).

He had a higher overall net spend than Liverpool in his time there and broke Tottenham's transfer record three times including players like Sanchez who was unbelievable at Ajax and flopped at Tottenham.

He moaned that he didn't get a say in transfers so we gave him control over transfers and he spent £53 million on ndombele, £40 million on lo celso, and £25 million on sessegnon leaving us with practically no defence (the best part being that he personally picked lo celso over Bruno Fernandes).

Since then we've brought in players like hojbjerg, Romero, Emerson, kulusevski, bentancur who have all been great yet under him nearly every signing flopped.

He's known for his youth record but the only youth player he bought through was Harry winks who then completely lost form under him anyway.

Clearly players like foyth, Edwards, walker peters, and madueke were good enough for Tottenham but he didn't give youth a chance.

The fact he didn't win anything during 15/16 or 16/17 when we likely had the best squad in the league doesn't help and nor does starting an injured Harry kane over Lucas in the CL final (not that we would have won that either way probably)

  18. Conte took over a juventus team that finished 7th the previous season to winning the league in his first season in charge (without losing a game). Of course he can build and develop a team Carragher

  19. There's a reason why Spurs haven't won the league since 1961 and haven't won the UCL. The club culture is "also ran". Expectations of winning big trophies…. some clubs have it and some clubs don't , and Spurs don't have it in abundance.

  20. I really dont get why Spurs get the hate they get? I know there is an element of delusion to our fans, however most clubs have that.
Ive supported them since the mid 90s, and we've never really looked likely to win much. We got lucky with Poch, and all most fans want is us to play attractive football and to be winning trophies more frequently.
A lot of supporters are aware that we aren't on the levels of City, Chelsea etc. but as soon as we demand more from the board or the team we are seen as deluded?? , or if we say we are happy with things as they are… we get called Spursy!? It makes no sense at all! It just seems the media and a lot of other fans just hate us (the latter more!) for things they are guilty of themselves.. hypocrisy at its finest!

  21. Its neither the club culture, nor the manager. A system as great as a football club needs incredible synergy to reach the elite level. The owner, staff, players, manager, doctors, cooks, and everyone in between must have the same vision for the club. Only when everyone is on the same page can a club make that next step. You can have all the quality, work ethic, mentality, tactics in the world, but if everyone is not trying to reach the same goal through the same path, it quickly becomes unsustainble

  22. Neville: That's why I didn't want him at Man U.

Oh I didn't realise you were ever in charge of anything there.

At that moment in time, this moment in time, any moment in time.

  23. Neville: There's no surprise that I'm talking about knowing something has happened after it's happened.

  24. We need a manager that is prepared to stay for 5 years, it’s a process which requires patience from all parties

  25. They deserve it. You don't sack a manager a week before a cup final.

  26. Sky Sports and Daniel Levy work together, they're all like a freemasonic cult. Levy is delighted that he won't make top 4 which means he'll have the excuse to bring in a cheap manager only to provide him with a very limited transfer budget. This is what you call PR folks, I wouldn't watch Sky Sports if you paid me. Do not take anything these puppets say seriously.

  27. he said it clear and in their face , this club its used to loss they dont have the history like man utd or chelsea who are struggling but they do have the motivation to do better and that s a big part of the story , u can not let yourself always at the same level , they need to get out of Levi

  28. Carragher is a brilliant pundit. Able to analyze things with a lot of clarity

  29. They lost a 3-1 lead to Southampton at home
They lost 1-0 lead to Everton 10 men
    With Conte status yep ✌️.

  30. It was never levy who got us fourth it was poch we were extremely lucky Kane turned into the player he was that has nothing to do with levy making us a top four finishing side if he never come through son would of never shined and we would be a mid table club

  31. Levy is like a dictator. The majority/masses (in this case the fans) want him gone, but he just will not relinquish his power, and he still believe his delusional approach on the pitch is the best way.
