  1. Quite impressed by the Wilson D9F numbers. 2nd and 3rd in dispersion and shot-area. 5800 spin and same distance as zx5 . Very underrated.

  2. I believe that your personal ball strike – fade or draw – is another factor to consider when choosing a club. A fade will have a slightly higher ball flight, more spin and higher descent angle, which will allow you to improve your green holding. So I think that a fade will allow one to pick a lower descent angle head – like the Mizuno Hot metal Pro or Callaway Paradym. Personally, I am a draw player, so I know that loft is my friend and would not choose from this category. Some brands have a higher launch version of these models (like the Mizuno Hot Metal HL) and would be a better choice for me.

  3. Great review…thanks. Would the Cobra Forged Tec X fall in the Players Distance or Game Improvement category.

  4. What about the new Big Bertha from Calloway? Yes, I know it’s obscenely expensive but would it fit in this category? And, since I may have your attention, what about the new CBs from Miura? Again, extremely pricy but would these be worth checking out? Thx.
