I done this when travelling to ireland from Australia. on marketplace I got a set of mp32s 3-pw. titleist 905t driver. 2 vokey wedges and a mizuno bettinardi c01 putter with a stand bag for 230 Euro. absolute bargain and still use the mp32s today along with the putter….
Hey James, Lou’s is where I get my clubs regriped. I would have taken you to best Mexican and Korean restaurants if I knew you were in town. Your in Carrollton not Dallas. Indian Creek golf course is just down the street from you.
You’re probably home now, but I have a 10am tee time at Turtle Hill tomorrow. You’ll love the views, but it’s an hour and a half north of where you are.
Great idea for video. Looked to be fun experience at Lou's too. I've used a service called ShipSticks here in the U.S. when I travel for golf. They can't be beat. $40-$60 usually, and they pick them up from my house and they deliver to the hotel or golf course I'm traveling to. Saves money over the airlines and saves a lot of hassle with parking lots, buses, etc that you face when getting to check in or luggage claim.
I still have in my bag a TM V-Steel 3W (Dynamic Gold Lite steel shaft) and especially for Chris, a 7W in the same spec. I keep thinking I ought to get something more modern, but when they still do everything they did on the day I bought them, why would I?
That’s Kevin at Lou’s golf. Great place here in town. Not sure what course you’re at but Indian creek down the road from Lou’s has 36 holes of good golf with better than average conditions. Great place for the money. Enjoy your time here in town! If you like sushi go check out Nori Handroll Bar in downtown
