LIV golfers are currently enraged at the Masters, and what this means in the long run for the rival Tour will surprise you!
You see, Augusta’s decision to allow LIV golfers to compete at this year’s edition of the Masters came as a pleasant surprise to the players on the breakaway Tour. But gradually, it became apparent that it was nothing but short-term gain to the boys of LIV. Despite being given the green light, this door doesn’t guarantee their qualification for future events. So what’s the possibility that the large numbers of these players teeing off at Augusta National Golf Club this year will feature in subsequent editions, and where exactly do these players go from here? Let's face it, less than stellar players on the PGA Tour will have less serious competition now that some of the top players are now on the LIV Tour. Anybody in the twilight years of his golfing career would be an idiot NOT to join LIV. If LIV can gain ten out of the top twenty-five players in the world to join their tour, the PGA will regret their desire to monopolize the game. Why not have a two circle Venn diagram with the Majors as the overlap. The overlap could be the top 80 on the PGA Tour plus the top 20 on the LIV Tour. That way, fans still get to see the best of the best compete.
Maybe world Ranking needs to be adjusted to today's reality of what these independent contractors are faced with. Not by having a gun pointed at them and saying conform or else.
LIV players can play major asian and middle eastern events to earn points as well
Just explain by what logic/knowledge you can say, for example that Bryson is safe to play in Augusta because of his U.S. Open win it doesn't make any sense
It's totally correct to invite the qualified LIV players to the master's and the other majors. The reality is, that on LIV tour the most majority winner of the last years compete, that the quality is on top level. Then PGA tour does all to destroy otherwise tours for their own growing. They are online interested in their money and not in developing a fair fundament for all golfers around the world. Playing and winning DP world tour Events is fine, but the points for the tanking system you get are a shame. Only on the PGA tour events you can really get a lot of points and that's one of the main reasons why the most european players start there. Also you get no invitations to the PGA tour main events if you are not part of a exclusive circle – the world ranking number 34 Thomas Peter's from Europe for example was not good enough to be invited to the Arnold Palmers…. The PGA reflects not the reality, but there you could see that golf is not a US American game, that it's s european game Broughton to the USA, that there european player aren't in 2 of 3 cases win the Ryder cup and so on. But there are 3 of 4 majors un USA. not one in Asia – in USA are living 300 mio people, in Europe also and in the rest of the world 7 Mrd…. If the PGA tour doesn't wake up she will be history in a few years because the Golfsport develops and grows up in other regions. It's totally okay that LIV golfers start in Augusta, they are in total the better players than the guys from the PGA tour….
But i hope Tiger does it again, he's the GOAT!

LIV can spend the Masters into the ground, this is why they're invited in the first place. The masters for all its prestige cant afford to pay what LIV does.
