  1. Clearly, Ben Simmons is not only fighting the backslash and constant criticism from the media but also fighting mental health issues. As the great Charles Barkley quote, "I don't create controversies. They're there long before I open my mouth. I just bring them to your attention."

  2. The next CBA, the owners need be able to cut players and get out of contracts. But that would be racist

  3. NBA needs to help team management when it comes to a situation like this. Both in their obligations to pay a player, as well as navigating medical exceptions to continue to field a competitive team.

  4. For every Ben Simmons kind of man in this world and league there is a Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway and such who were game time day one that injuries ruined it too soon. I wish we could see them have actual primes. Man Penny would eat Ben Simmons up all day no question. He was bad to the bone. Grant Hill would be puzzling players. Ice cold.

  5. Why are there guaranteed contracts in the NBA? Brooklyn should be able to cut this guy without having to keep paying him. He sucks at showing up for his job.

  6. don't bring up Yao and Roy, Ben Simmons would not last a day under Jeff Vangundy or Portland's fans

  7. The NBA ain't for everyone he probably made more money in his NBA career then Richard did already and his career looks to be ending soon

  8. Stop covering Ben Simmons. He literally just doesn’t want to play basketball anymore. He made it to the NBA and I guess that’s where his dreams stopped as far as basketball goes.

  9. If he is hammered too much by everyone, he’ll probably fall back to ‘muh mental health, mate’.

I’m calling that in the final year of his contract (if he doesn’t get waived and restructured first) he’ll miraculously be able to play some semblance of basketball, just for his last con.

  10. This man already has a 50 year plan after basketball. I think he's satisfied enough with his basketball career.

  11. The irony!! He has career stats of 16 ppg ,8 rebounds , 8 assist, 2 steals and 1 block with over 56% shooting. Yet a guy who averaged 12 ppg, 4 rebounds, 2 assist, half a steal and a third of a block with 46% shooting had the GALL TO SAY ON NATIONAL TV. “This ain’t for him”😂😂😂😂😂if he was asked to be you he’s an overachiever. These players all talk like they was Jordan, Bird or Magic on the floor!!

  12. He showed everyone he wasn't into basketball at LSU. People threw it aside like he just wan't into college like that but he's the same person/personality that was at LSU. He doesn't care the game plain and simple. Why do people try to will someone that doesn't want it themselves.

  13. Ben Simmons has a mental problem…from the moment you got doubts about anything…failure is possible..sadly it’s the truth 😢

  14. He can come back stronger if he equips himself with heavy work ethics. He has the talent.

  15. nah stop rooting for ben stop spoiling him nah kick him out of the league already
