I also would have preferred Jamie Joseph as coach, but i also don´t think its wrong to give the overwhelming public choice a go.
The faster game in super rugby is definitely a better spectacle, evidenced by more tries being scored across the board. However, I don´t understand why you would accept significant rule changes in a world cup year that won´t be applied at the international level.

The defence in super rugby has substantially deteriorated.
Six of the 12 Super Rugby Teams are weak and all five of the NZ Teams are in the Top 6. No competition for NZ Teams will result in a boring Super Rugby Competition with very little structured play and poor defensive structures. The standard of Super Rugby is definitely declining with a lot of high scores signifying nothing but declining standards and defence.
