  1. The good news is, McIlroy won't be at the Champions Dinner because he hasn't won it. Doesn't that sound good! I dare say he'll find a way to pull on his PGA Tour Squadron Leader cap and get lots of likes with the PGA Tour top brass!

  2. Agree with Davis Riley but also going for Taylor Montgomery in Texas. Better than average driver but a top notch putter. Great show fellas.

  3. SW KIM 22/1 D Riley 30/1 M Kuchar 33/1
    T Pendrith 60/1 B Hossler 75/1 P Coody 150/1 Texas open

    J Niemann 12/1 P UIHLEIN 40/1 Liv golf

  4. I think it's a stretch to say that the Texas Open is going to be a Fowler Riley shootout. Riley is below average putter on the PGA Tour and below average Shots Gain off the Tee and Driving Accuracy.
He's also only had one top 10 finish on the PGA Tour this year.
I like Si Woo Kim, Chris Kirk or Ben Taylor at a large price

  5. Just reading Steve's 'classic' Born to Punt. Goof work fella.
Not sure if you'll see this, however your thoughts on the 'Livers' in the Majors when only playing tin~pot golf with only 3 rounds rather than 4 in 'real' golf…

  6. Not excited by the PGA this week I’m going for an outsider in Kazuki Higa at Valero, but in the LPGA, Atthaya Thitikul is a great bet 12/1 if her putter functions, she led greens in reg last week but couldn’t buy a putt, and Ruoning Yin as my EW outsider @100/1- did well in this last year T33 and a fine T16 in Arizona on Sunday.

  7. D Riley, T Montgomery, C Kirk in the Valero and J Niemann, A Ancer, T Gooch in the LIV. At the Masters dinner it will be Bread Rolls at 20 paces then lol.

  8. An awful field this week, I’m backing a few outsiders:

    SH Kim 80/1
    Sepp Straka 80/1
    Luke List 100/1
    Kazuki Higa 125/1
    Pierceson Coody 150/1

I can’t justify backing average PGA golfers at 33/1 or the top of the market that are not prolific winners but I’ll probably end up eating my own words! Good luck everyone!

  9. Bruce/Steve – in the masters preview next week, can you let us know if there’s any LIV golfers Steve would consider backing? I wouldn’t touch any with a ten-foot barge poll but want to know your thoughts!

  10. Thanks guys, hard to get too inspired but what looks an open contest the week before the serious business of The Masters, not a fan of the 'win because he needs to' theory so wary of Fowler but as also tipped by Joe Champion he will get a wager, fancy more Davis Riley again tipped elsewhere, as well as strong each way poke Nick Hardy and to a lesser extent Erik Van Rooyan, sound reasoning about Piercesson Coody plus a tick from the Racing and Football Outlook gives him the last each way dart.

  11. What the hell should it matter if someone wants to wear shorts? When we go on holiday to a hot country we all feel so much more comfortable in shorts.

  12. Charles Howell the turd is a materialistic, mercanry who would sell his own mother for a quick buck.

  13. Great show Dream Team. Like the look of Hardy and longshots with those 10 places up for grabs. Good luck one and all. Cheers

  14. Rory won’t be at the Champions Dinner! Fred Couples, Tiger and Sir Nick taking on Phil, DJ and P Reed!

  15. Rickie Fowler for the Open at 125/1 is a bet I’ve been chipping away at in recent weeks. Clearly coming back to form and his best ever Open was 2nd behind Rory at Hoylake. It’s Hoylake again this summer. Can see him being a lot shorter in price if he keeps up his form over the next few months

  16. CHANDLER PHILLIPS , 350-1
from Texas, good scorer and putter (4th KFT)
3rd KFT points list, won this year already KFT
