  1. Kano, c'mon mate, call it for what it is. A young player on a long term, high $$$ deal, deals which we know your a fan of by the way, giving just the most insipid, pitiful and lackluster effort when the chips are down. JHF is a downhill skier who only works hard when there is something in it for him. Im glad we allowed him to leave, he is ports problem now.

  2. Kane bias as always
He’s entertaining but man he’s annoying
But we need people like that in the media or else it’ll get boring

  3. Its a fair comment on any player, unless its a port player when it becomes a cheap shot…. But agree on JHF comment, Kane needs to give other young players need the same grace

  4. I think it’s the right time for Tom Hawkins to hang up the boots and call it a day. (After this season of course) I think the same for Lance Franklin. With the swans especially they’re essentially paying another million to Franklin to just kick goals for them and not do much else. They’ve already proven they don’t need him anymore.

Not so much Scott Pendlebury as his style of play is timeless and he could play for another 2-3 years if he wanted to. But he probably won’t. I suspect he’ll retire after this year. 15:29 That’s why he gave up his captaincy.

  5. ALl this talk about hawthorn how they cleared out a lot of players and will get pumped every week by barrett and others. Who gives a crap honestly. Its the fkn AFL not the EPL where you have to rely heavily on the draft. If your happy to do a complete rebuild and finish a couple of seasons in the bottom 4 for draft purposes then so be it. What else can you do if you want to go all in on the rebuild?

  6. "Ive mentioned my concerns about trent cotchin" … Trent hasnt played a bad game in over a year and has in fact started the year very well.

  7. Cornes just making excuses for JHF. LDU had injuries in his 2nd year. Cornes takes pot shots at plenty of young players, but JHF is off limits. Complete biased flog.

  8. LDU had no real coaching in second year if u want to use that logic Cornes what about Sam Walsh what about Daicos in their first two years

  9. As a Bomber's fan, I loved seeing Heppel get dragged. Having a coach who's not afraid to ignore the name and make the right call for the team fills me with confidence for our future. It reinforces standards and expectations and reminds the group that no one is immune to scrutiny

  10. Thats a poor defence from Kane. He's giving the kid excuses to be lazy.
Tells you all you need to know about "journalist's", all full of shit.

  11. Hodge is wrong about Cotchin on Nick Daicos. Why in the world would you do that for a bloke who may not b able to keep pace. Put a younger player to tag n free up Cotchin to play freely.

  12. I wouldn’t include Rowell in that argument Kane. From memory he was leading the comp for tackles inside defensive 50

  13. When you’re paying so many players to play for other clubs.. you can only balance the books by making sure somebody like Noble is playing above level that they are getting paid.

  14. I'm sick of Cornes being up JHF arse; he played a terrible game on the weekend.

  15. When comparing LDU with JHF, you must remember that LDUs father was dying of cancer during his 2nd and 3rd year.
