To start learning the Single Plane golf swing, I produced a pocket guide that you can take to the golf course or the range. You can Learn to swing like Roberto. Just a pick up a copy of the Single Plane pocket guide here: http://SwingPocketGuide.com.
If you ever wondered if the Single Plane Swing could hit the ball as long as the conventional swing, here is your answer. In the video I will teach you about Roberto Lebrija, a Latin American Tour Player who can generate more speed than most players on the PGA Tour – with a Moe Norman Single Plane Golf Swing.

More about the Single Plane Golf Swing
The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing – impact.
Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.
This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.
The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

Awesome thanks for sharing!!
What I noticed most about this swing is the golfers legs getting wider initially. A point Moe made about his swing, sitting into his knees. As a new member of the online academy I’ve found that the “squat” is the best move for my transition and I’m making better contact, better ball compression and the yardage that I “lost” is now back and I’m even hitting the ball a little farther and definitely straighter.
Incroyable !!! Je suis à 300 yard avec votre méthode
Merci 🙏🏻
Great swing video!!
Would you change Rory’s swing if you had the opportunity?
Todd always best videos
Thanks Todd! I'm a way better golfer because of you,,the direct connection to Moe!😎👍
Wheres the data??
Hey Todd, I was thinking about you getting your single-plane stance trainet. Is that the same measurements regardless of height or leg length of the player?
The one thing that stood out to me is the position of his trail arm/ elbow at the top is behind and away from his body unlike Moe and something I tend to struggle with especially when I’m trying to step on one. I know that the goal is to match the model but it seems to me that as long as you plane the club the position isn’t as critical.
I played with Roberto on the minor-league tour in Florida. Nice kid, tall skinny fast.-
Single plane swing is about keeping the club face square prior to impact – at impact and passed impact longer than any other swing. I believe that’s all Moe was doing… that he talks about the quarter drill he did as a kid is 🔑- in the swing were never built in this way just simply keep the club for square forever
I took a lesson with a single plane coach back when Natural Golf was around. I watched him hit drivers literally off of the driving range. Ball after ball flew the net at 275 yards. It was impressive to say the least.
Todd, this would be the best looking swing on tour if he can get there. 125 clubhead speed. Looks like he’s going out at 70%. I think that’s the key to a golf swing to full speed full effort. Looks like a walk in the park.
In my late 60s, my 250 yd. drives, down the middle of the fairway, leave my golf buddies behind. Better, more solid contact is the key and the SPS is what provides it. I just take advantage of the effect. 🙂
Love this guys swing. Looks extremely powerful. What's the rest of his game like Todd? Chipping, putting, wedges etc
Hi Todd is the set up and swing the same with short irons and hybrids?
I discovered the single plane about 7 years ago somewhere else before I found you and Mo. All I did was raise my hands to the swing plane and the best I could, I would keep my swing arc long and wide while keeping my arms nice and straight. I was able to start driving the ball 280-290 and once hit one 320 dead straight with driver, never forget the feeling. And once 290 with a 3wood rolled on the green and shot an eagle for the whole. I could hit the driver straight and far all the time, at will. I was not able to do it with the irons though, which was very frustrating. I would have problems hitting everything fat but still get good distance. I had a conventional coach try helping with the irons and it wrecked my swing for the driver, it only took 30 minutes to ruin my swing. It's Painful, still working on it, but almost have it back. I find in hard using your technique, so I just focus on keeping hands on swing plane, huge difference. I love the Mo video's! What a great character. The short videos are awesome.
Ok, first time I have heard take the club inside a bit for a one plane swing. I've always struggled not doing this thinking I shouldn't. Will try again tomorrow.
Todd … looks fantastic… how many yards is he with his 4 iron?
One thing that would also be helpful is to show success stories, distance wise, for people that were releasing early or casting.
Hit the green on a par 4 with the single plane swing last weekend. The power is real
At the time of the video it looks like Roberto is in kind of a hybrid mode a bit, in between conventional and Single Swing Plane.
Am I seeing that Roberto’s stance is open?
What would be cool to see is a side by side cause & effect of trail foot down v coming up too soon. While it can be challenging I know trail foot down results in more consistent straight shots for me
