The PGA TOUR returns to Austin Country Club with a 64-player field now set for the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. Eight of the world’s top-nine players will tee it up, as Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa, Xander Schauffele, Will Zalatoris and Viktor Hovland are all in the field. Scheffler, fresh off his win at THE PLAYERS Championship, returns as the defending champion. After successfully defending at the WM Phoenix Open in February, he will be hoping to continue his run of form with another successful title defence this week. Meanwhile, Min Woo Lee, who was in the group tied for sixth at TPC Sawgrass, is teeing it up on TOUR again. He was in the final pairing with Scheffler at THE PLAYERS and is inching closer to earning Special Temporary Membership while being firmly in the mix to earn a TOUR card via the DP World Tour Ranking at year’s end. Kevin Kisner, who has been a star at Austin Country Club for the last few years, having notched a win and two runner-up results in the last four events, is also back in action.

  1. Jason is more than a golfer. What great play. I learn from Scottie now, at 68, to relax upper shoulders, stand taller and crowd the ball a bit. Go Sheff…

  2. Scottie is # for a reason. Awesome player. Day was good and so good to see him back playing good Golf, again. I really can't see anyone beating Scottie at the moment, just so dialled in with his Irons.

  3. Scottie is something special. Hes a big deal but I think hes on his way to becoming the next big deal. He plays with such calm and precision. Never shows any frustration out on the course. He has drive to win like 10 majors. I could see it happening. Dude has been in the running in like every tournament he plays in. Other guys have to be playing out of their minds to just scrape by him for the win. Its crazy.

  4. We need to keep this tournament and keep it in Austin. Let’s just call it’s something else. It doesn’t need to be wgc

  5. I love that Scottie is on top. He's such a humble man and also a follower of Christ. I hope he can be a great ambassador for many years to come.

  6. I love watching Scottie! You always know you’re going to see some amazing shots and his game is VERY sharp right now!

  7. Word on the street is that when Scottie started to walk away and celebrate his tightly contested match against Jason, Scheffler was heard saying, "Good game dude, have a nice day!"

  8. In my eyes, Jason is just like Tiger, I hope Jason will win next time!
Even Scottie won, but I have to say, Jason's swing is much more beautiful.

  9. Match play is just fantastic. The PGA Championship should return to it's original format, it's really the red headed step child major tournament and that would definitely make it more compelling a watch. Also having a top tier PGA tournament using the Shackleford scoring system would be awesome too. Remember the Shark Shootout?

  10. Time isn't on our side, that is why successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..
