  1. I couldn't agree more with this take! Jon Rahm is top notch professional. PLEASE LIKE & SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL FORE MORE! ⛳

  2. I think they should reduce the amount of clubs that they can use over the 4days it stays the same. 6 to 7 clubs.

  3. Why change anything? Golf is thriving just as is. Don’t fix it if it isn’t broke. ESP with LIV now in the picture there’s plenty of versatility out there.

  4. I don’t know if you been on the tour for. While you got notebook
On the places they go I say get rid of practice rounds and make the course way harder or always change the course

  5. Been saying it for years. They keep lengthening courses but that only helps the long hitters.
Make the courses a LOT shorter, but make them technically difficult so a par 4 is 7iron-8iron-putt, rather than 18 drives followed by 18 chips to the green as it is now

  6. Years ago, Gary Player said that, one day, guys will be hitting the ball 400 yards, and now its here. The technologies in the golf swing, fitness, and in the equipment just keep improving. Balata to surlyn, 30 yards, trampoline effect, 20 yards, swing improvements, 30 yards….. and so it goes. They can't keep buying more land around the famous courses. I guess you can narrow down fairways to 15 yards and make the rough 6" tall, but I din't see those things as the ultimate solution. The biggest talk is the golf ball. That might work.

  7. I like Rahm but he’s not presenting any solutions
Golf should be more than driver wedge for the pro
    Players

  8. I don’t see why anything needs to change. I’d rather see scores get lower and lower. It helps me appreciate how good they are when I go and shoot 95

  9. Need to do both.
When fairway woods are coming into long par fours we'll be back to a serious game.
Now its just a circus act. Tedious and one dimensional.

  10. All the golf courses need to do is narrow the fairways by twenty five yards beyond three hundred and ten yards and make the rough deep

  11. When players are getting 50 to 70 yds of rollout, the issue isn't just the ball! The fairways are too firm and fast

  12. Just make the hole abit smaller for these boys. Job done. Courses can stay the same. We can all use the same products.

  13. Yep, they need to show some creativity imo. Maybe have hot air balloons dotted around as obstacles 😉

  14. Golf is hard enough. Playing at different elevations week to week is a skill of its own adjusting your yardages. Then throw in different balls is just madness. Pros even though they are the best do not need another variable to effect their game. One of the silliest ideas in sports I have heard recently.

  15. Let’s a stop getting the tournament grounds crew to flag every difficult ball to find. Maybe they would have to re-tee more often.

Also someone mentioned fairway rollout below. That’s true too, how about 15-20 yards of rollout instead of 40.

  16. Spitting facts, all Tiger proofing courses did was took the avg hitters out of the tournaments. Merion was a great test and short.

  17. Most players are using clubs that average players use. Make it so players have to use different balls and clubs.

  18. If they re-introduced balls from the 90s and gave everyone blades, Tiger would still be reigning in majors and Tour wins.

  19. If they make the ball worse or the course longer it’s only going to play into the hands of the long hitters. Make it tighter and trickier.

  20. Really the coarse doesn’t matter. They all play the same coarse, that’s the point. Weather and time of day is more of a factor.

  21. Major point. There are 2 courses here in Barbados. One is 6600 the other almost 5600. The 6600 plays under par for most pros and scratch but the short course plays par or over.

The difference is how the courses punishs bad shots. If they were to modify courses to punish bad shots instead of make it longer the game will become significantly harder

  22. Tiger is the only player asking for the ball to be rolled back. He’s still chasing Jack and that’s his only chance, so of course he’s gonna try.

  23. 5 inch rough would do it. Guys would sacrifice distance for accuracy hitting longer clubs into greens making game harder. Problem solved dumbasses.
