  1. Finally! Geez. Good thing Deegan has a vlog or no one would’ve known a darn thing about this lol. Wish you guys would get videos posted right after the event. I’m sure it’s logistically difficult, but that’s what you have to do these days. I love outdoors. I would like to see it find its pedigree once more.

  2. It’s only been 6 or 9 months since it happened. You’re really firing on all cylinders guys.

  3. Remember last year in futures SX when everyone was big upping Hymas & Ryder D, rightfully so. And they battled quite a bit.. I mean it was hype machine at its best, which isn’t a bad thing. But I say that for the Deegan haters. He did 1 scouting combine, killed em. Turned pro, he could have easily stayed amateur and killed those guys like Hymas, Dax, Hawkins, etc for the other combined and motos.. He did 1 futures race, yeah he didn’t win it but everyone knew he should have and they said fuck it we’re going pro. I mean he’s just barely turned 17. The mindset is just in the right spot. Go get experience, see if you can hang, take your licks racing 3-7+ year accomplished vets that are anywhere from 3-13years older than him. It’s just insane that he’s put up results like this. I expect him to get beat up at the east west shootout because obviously McCadoo, RJ, Pierce, Nate, Jordon, & the Lawrence Brothers are faster and Shimoda too if he’s there & possibly anstie although Deegs has been faster the last 2 weeks. So top 10 would be nice a top 5 would be insanity, & podium would be like a win. But point is atleast he’s out there rippin with these guys and learning that pass and getting experience under the lights as opposed to Hymas who dropped out after 4 races.. Which that’s not wrong either. Ryders injured which sucks. But man whether if you love him or if you hate him. You gotta admit he’s been remarkable. Completed all laps, only 2 tip overs both in whoops, 2 podiums, & a heat race win. He’s gotta be learning so much. I’ll be curious to see how he progresses in the next 2-3 years. But for a kid that was supposed to be doing 4/5 futures races it’s crazy how much skill he’s got on a bike. Also think about the comparison in experienced gained just going out and running 4 futures races and blowing them out every week by 6-10 seconds as opposed to what’s happened by racing with the big dawgs. Pretty crazy to think about.
