MAX HOMA has got himself in a HUGE MESS… FANS ARE EXASPERATED

MAX HOMA has got himself in a HUGE MESS… FANS ARE EXASPERATED & some huge opinions are being shared all over TWITTER from fans and Professional Golfers! Robert Rock, Liv golf tour & other HUGe names are left frustrated after watching the WGC at Austin Country Club during Saturdays Match play event between Max Homa & Mackenzie Hughes on the 13th hole.

What do you think? Has slow PLAY become a HUGE issue in golf and even more so on the PGA tour? What can be done to STOP it & get golf moving forward. In my eyes this is a GOLF PANDEMIC. & this is a HUGE mess for HOMA to try and sort out as golf fans are LEFT EXASPERATED. What is the slow play etiquette? how do we stop slow play?

Max Homa is an AMAZING golfer and has won 6 times on the PGA tour with his last win at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. He’s now No. 6 in the world golf rankings! behind Cameron Smith, Patrick Cantlay, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm & SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER

  1. Just slow play ,I saw at my local club a 4 ball marking the ball from 8 inches, really 😡😡😡

  2. Pace of play on p.g.a has become ridiculous. As an am we play in four hrs or less. I have quit watching golf on t.v. The pros take so much time you have time to order lunch and eat it. Play with a guy who has to measure everything like the pros on t.v. Everyone hates playing with him. Use to watch golf religiously. Now hate watching. Bowling is more interesting. Way to go p.g.a.

  3. He is a professional. He knows how to play at a high level. He has no excuse for slow play.

  4. Like you said in the video. There is a clock and a time limit. Put them on the clock and actually do something when they go over. I’m not sure but when was the last time that they actually issued a penalty for slow play and taking too long.

  5. If it's the weekend all bets are off. Could be 5 or even 6 hours! Brutal.

  6. I LOVE being on the course in a great company playing …. am a very very fast player…. but i never look at the time when playing or think of someone taking more or less time than me playing good golf…. as long as we're not holding up the play behind us (never happens) is all good…. this speed in a game that's in no rush at all is stupid as long as it's not crazy crazy just hanging around… but this aim point crap is a total crap …. read it with ur eyes…. putt… done….. but for real … i never worry about it …

  7. I used to be a slower player, but I practice my shot or line up my putt before it's my turn as much as possible. That being said, I want to enjoy my round and being in nature, the peace and quiet of the golf course, it's like therapy for me, so if there's some speed junkies behind me, I let them go passed us, if they get pissed off, F**K em!! If they're leaning on their clubs back on the tee box, F**K em!! Quit being IN SUCH A F***EN hurry on the golf course, are you in a rush to get back home to your wife so she can give some chores to do???

  8. People trying to make something out of nothing, Hughes was not frustrated! He is already in checking out the Bass! I would have too!

  9. While pace of play is an issue on the PGA Tour for a lot of reasons, I actually find Mackenzie Hughes to be the one lacking etiquette here by not remaining greenside while Max Homa is putting. Sure it can be frustrating having to wait, but this is a gentleman's game and one must uphold themselves to that standard. Make all the faces and all of it greenside, not halfway across the bridge.

  10. Pace of play is shitty and it is 100% the course's fault. 8 minute tee times are bullshit. By mid morning you've created a backlog and created a jam of players on every hole.

  11. If you start docking strokes they will speed it up. Slow play is a cancer on professional golf.

  12. I'm retired and play during the week. I have no concerns about pace of play. I will say one thing, though. People that have a vested interest in the game, meaning they make their living in golf, continuously state "We have to grow the game" and in the same sentence say we have to increase the pace of play. Well, you can't have it both ways. If you're going to "grow the game" it will mean more players on the course which will mean longer play times. The average Joe out there doesn't really want to "grow the game."

  13. I find AimPoint to be bizarre. Watching Homa there, it really looks like he walks on his own line. I've played with AimPoint users and they invariably walk on my line while they are doing their thing. Did Homa make that putt?

  14. Click Bait……. Max has no history of Slow Play so this is a non story…..

  15. They should allow rangefinders for pros to speed things up. No yardage books, just zap it and play the shot. Then you can take your time on the green.

  16. obviously, you can't compare the professional experience to the amateur experience. they are two different worlds that just happen to revolve around the same game…but it's not even the same game at the pro level. so, comparing max homa to a round you play with your buddies at the local muni doesn't make sense. max homa can take all the time he wants if he keeps winning. he earned it. now, i acknowledge the fact that there is such a thing as too much time. fair play. but making golf easy to watch isn't homa's job either. that's up to the media. just be better at cutting to different players/shots.
lastly, it's my opinion that golf is a game of patience and mental fortitude. if you can't stay composed on the course, that's on you. don't let other people get into your head and affect your score.
