  1. Orange is NOT more red then red, because red is red, can't get more red then red. This is an opinion I will argue to the death and will threaten to physically fight someone who disagrees with my exact opinion!

    (kidding BTW, just in case)

  2. Chris Simms is a very good football analyst. His QB evaluation off of film is top notch. Yeah … he's not always right, but the process is. Regarding Zach Wilson … yeah, he missed. But Chris didn't interview his psyche either. It's obvious Zach is extremely immature and not ready for prime time.

  3. Chris and my man Ahmed,

I’ve been listening to the Pod for a few years now and I haven’t missed and episode yet. I’m a police officer in the San Francisco area and you get me through my long commute. For that I thank you. What do you think about DTR’s arm strength? I haven’t watched all the film but based on his highlight reel the ball looks like it absolutely flies out of his hand. Chris I hope to see you become a GM. Truly love the pod!

    -Hayden Fry

  4. Anyone else think chris might be headed towards a divorce? He mentioned how his wife can just divorce rape him early in pod, then later on mentioned how why worry about drafting a kid whose a few years older, its not like your marrying them and you have to be worry about them getting old and becoming ugly.

Could just be joking, I hope Im just barking up the wrong tree.

  5. One thing I have always loved about Chris Simms is that guy really doesn't have any ill feeling or rigid thought process about QB style against any particular player
He sees film irrespective of anything and based on that gives his evaluations
    Respect 🙏

  6. Chris, I get the fact that PFF and similar services don't add much context to numbers and I get why you would question their ability to properly evaluate/grade plays.
However, Bryce was pressured on 10% more of his dropbacks and adding context to that makes the contrast even more glaring. The way he was constantly manipulating rush angles, created space for himself and was able to buy time was on an another level. I don't think there's a single person out there doing this for a living, who would say he had better protection or receiving help.
Please sit down Connor to discuss this and/or watch tape, because if you prefer Stroud due to size/arm strength advantages, that's fine. But if you want to argue he was under more pressure or showed more comfort in chaos, I just don't know what you're seeing.

  7. Dak sucks, just the cowboys were stacked and when they had a few years of not being stacked, dak was like baker mayfield

  8. what would zach wilson be if he was drafted by an Andy Reid instead?
people just want to separate and evaluate. that’s not life or football

  9. 17:00 mark. the lady in the light green pullover and grey pants seems great. if you see this i love you

  10. Chris, the colors of the spectrum are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indifo, Violet. So nothing is redder than red, but indigo and violet are bluer than blue,

  11. Oh I am absolutely the Queen of the house. Because my husband trusts my 6th sense. It has proven him wrong so many times.

  12. Say what you want about simms, he knows how to evaluate qbs and people listen when he speaks. Hooker is now being spoken about as 1st rounder where as before he was late 2nd

  13. I saw Bryce play at Bama multiple times. He's damn good. And I've stated before that Bama's O-line has struggled the last few years but Bryce is a game changer. If CJ goes first, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm rooting for them both. I was so sad when OH lost to GA at the end of the playoff game. CJ played his ass off.

  14. Thank you for mentioning Stetson Bennett. He's not a game changer. He's older. And he fortunately was surrounded by a really good team. He'd a good backup QB, nothing more.

  15. I think the most pressing question that could make Chris consider Bryce at 1 is “if Bryce was on Ohio state, do they win back to back national championships?” Stroud was throwing to 5 first round wrs in Wilson, Olave, JSN, Marvin and Egbuka, bryce was throwing to Jameson Williams and JaCorey brooks and he would’ve won the championship if Jameson didn’t go down w an ACL. I don’t think Jacorey is even a first round talent next year btw.
