  1. this is why i love simms analysis on qbs, i totally thought he would have levis in his top 2 w stroud at 1 & bryce at 3 & maybe richardson at 4 but instead he surprises me by doing his research and showing me that he knows the qb position

  2. this is why i love simms analysis on qbs, i totally thought he would have levis in his top 2 w stroud at 1 & bryce at 3 & maybe richardson at 4 but instead he surprises me by doing his research and showing me that he knows the qb position

  3. I watched last year’s Tennessee/Florida game last night. Hooker was actually more impressive as a runner in that game, but he got demolished because he didn’t slide at the end of his runs. That was the biggest red flag I saw.

  4. UNBUTTON THE SHIRT SIMS! it’s clearly cutting the circulation off to your brain. What is the look you going for AMISH SERIAL KILLER ?

  5. People love Young’s tape because it’s so exciting. Stroud’s tape looks too easy. Stroud’s game transfers much better to the NFL imo. Young could be amazing but we see guys with his skillset get to the NFL and get figured out all the time.

  6. Everybody automatically says Bryce is better but at the same time they can't tell me one thing that CJ doesn't do very well, and his movements still look fine to me I don't really understand why people are acting like he's Peyton Manning mobility level or something. I understand Peyton moves well in the pocket, maybe that'll save me getting a couple of angry replies 😄

  7. I trust Simms judgment 1. Because he played in the NFL . 2 He has sensible and reasonable analysis
But gotta differ on this draft. Don’t see Stroud being the next Burrow or Allen. And none of these guys can touch Mahomes.
Young too small, gonna get killed.
Will Richardson be able to adapt before getting hurt.

  8. Florio always on his phone when he’s not the one talking. I would hate being Simms and having to talk to Florio selfish ass every day

  9. My colts pick @ 4 so take out stroud & young. After them I don't think any of the QBs are worth a pick at 4 so trade back a few and get hooker and add a extra pick somewhere

  10. I can’t believe how little coverage Hooker is getting. When you put his numbers up to Bryce young they are better. Especially his rushing numbers. And look how much young’s numbers fell off after he lost his two first round recieved a. Hooker transferred and immediately started against all odds. That’s a winner and there is a team out there who will get him late. I hope it’s my commandoes in the second round.

  11. the hypothetical failure isn't hard to layer on – continued failure of the team that drafts him to piece together a competent offensive line and blitz pick up strategy, so much so that he gets slapped around constantly game in and game out, gets seriously injured end of his first year and halfway through his second, and stagnates and loses confidence from there on, doesn't get his 5th year option picked up, kicked around the league as back up or fringe starter.

  12. It's not like Simms is going out on a limb here. On NFL Mock Draft Database where they have all the mock drafts 95% of them have Stroud going first.

  13. Chris is good with his QB analysis. Yeah, he gets some things wrong … but his positives/negatives traits off of film is very good.

  14. Chris isn't than off of Hooker. Before his injury, Hooker was considered a late first round pick. And he's admitted that the older age doesn't bother him.

  15. Very smart take on Hooker, I see QB1 a McNair or McNabb tough QB. Kids gonna be a really good starter for 7-8yrs

  16. Funny Chris has will Levis at 6.. Mel kiper said don't be surprised if he goes top 5… This year's draft will be interesting

  17. Mark Brunell was pretty good. Put him on a not new Jags team and he may be a SB winning QB. Said name ya someone rocked up. Mark Brunell

  18. And it made complete sense. Hendon Hooker is most likely above Richardson and Levis. CJ Stroud is the traditional, big arm, pocket passer, accurate. So why would a small QB with a lesser arm be ahead of him?

  19. Florio is ridiculous for thinking Stroud doesn't have super star potential. Stroud's ceiling is that of a stronger armed Joe Burrow. Good luck finding anyone who doesn't consider Burrow a super star.

  20. 4:56 You forgot the obvious possibility: because he was an early draft pick to a shitty team, and that can ruin anyone.

  21. Hooker is a guy I wouldn’t sleep on! If I’m a team like the colts or commanders I try and get him in the second or late first

  22. Simms is terrible at picking QBs so I don’t put much stock in the B+ version of Major Applewhite.

  23. After the Zach Wilson debacle I don’t know how anyone takes his opinion seriously on the subject.

  24. If somebody labeled as A GOOD TEAM right now needed a backup, and Bryce Young fell out of the first 10 picks, that'd be a great move. With the idea that he might overcome "the size thing" still being in play. But this good team I'm talking about.. would have to think it's worth passing on some "high end positional" player..to take the "falling" quarterback.

  25. As a Colts fan, I would love to see Panthers select AR-15/ Texans take Young… GIVE US CJ STROUD ALL DAY EVERY DAY 8 DAYS A WEEK!!!! If Stroud isn't available we should trade back with Eagles for both their 1st Rd Picks (10&30). Draft Hooker and Cornerback!!! Bam…

  26. I love the Hooker take. I've been saying the same thing. And could care less about being 25, QB's tend to last much longer than other positions.

  27. Trevor Lawrence was light years ahead of anyone in this draft. Wilson coming out was as good as anyone in this draft. People REALLY need to quit pretending this is some stacked QB draft class, it's not. If it were, Anthony Richardson would be a 5th round pick, not a top four pick.
