How to Reduce your Golf Score with Ease

The Golf Coach JC Iron Man Drill….

The Iron Man Drill is a continuation from the Peter Cowen Spiral Staircase to explain a question I received with regards to the Peter Cowen Axe drill.

During the Axe drill Pete mentions external forearm rotation, this is what is needed if the body is not moving correctly and the smaller muscles, arms hands and club need to flick increasing FLASH speed, which is in-efficient club face stability. This could potentially lead to increased distance but certainly not consistent distance due to the severity of club face rotation through impact. The rotation will lead to having to work hard to time the strike otherwise miss hits will increase along with the potential of injury. Bad backs, wrists golfers elbow all issues that are caused by golfers working 1 or 2D drill prescribed by golf professionals from the ages. Theses golf professionals still regurgitate old swing drills.

Golf requires a number of differing postures due to the varying stances we encounter on the golf course, yet we almost always practice on flat ground and with our favorite club. Using this drill will enable you to understand how to remain neutral with your body and work the correct stretch forces during the swing to create efficient, powerful, repetitive movement. Practice this drill 10 times either side daily to lower your score guaranteed. If it doesn’t work, contact me and I will assist you.
