Many moons back, met a lower league player at tiny bus station in deep north Scandinavia, where we were going to the same tiny airport, by his own cost he was taking a trip to another football club, just another traveller with a backpack, then playing in the lower leagues in Scandinavia and was looking for another club, his agent said he had a few days to get to I think it was Germany, to trial at lower league clubs there – so like Christoph says it is a fine line between success, ie: making enough as a professional to consider it a sustainable living and or giving up, so can see Christoph appreciated going 'up' – and also, very much seemingly a deep thinking empathetic one who clearly understood the 'small club' mentality and culture Norwich has – just with bigger crowds and a higher league – and I wonder if a player like Christoph, would be so keen to play at the 'Bet365' Stadium, or a club that has lost some of it's sort of historical 'community' heritage and humanistic side – and it is good to realise, that fans don't just appreciate a Buendia but as well a Zimmerman because of their character and I guess a relaxed friendliness but serious commitment combination, is reflected in the Norfolk character a little bit. Seemed to really have understood the connection and the nor folk, with the sometimes wacky, off the wallness and bluntness. Keep troshin bor !

My Son loved his mascot experience against Wolves in 2019. Lots of pictures of him walking out with Chris. He loved it. A true gent and a Norwich Legend.
