give this man his subs!
Let’s get Andy’s subs up^^^^^^. Even if he is a ManU supporter. 7-0.
Really liked the video, loved the way you explained each shot. That lip out was filthy 😂
For a second i thought you gonna rip that driver not knowing of the couple strolling by in the background 😅
Good stuff as always!
I really enjoy these tips videos!
I’d love to see a video with more tee-off tips.
How do I set up for long or mid irons off the tee and when should I? Is there anything different about the swing?
Do you use a tee on par 3s or not?
Stuff like that.
Very helpful, useful and in depth. Appreciated!
Cold back in the UK isn’t it. At least you seem to have missed the snow. Good stuff anyway.
Flipping great stuff Andy – good solid tips and instruction.
Have to say I do like my #9 iron around the greens [unless I need more loft and use the 50deg GW].
Cheers
You lost me at “all you have to do is” lol, great tips mate well explained 👍.
You was wobbed there Andy!
Great stuff Andy, but I was a little confused on the 3 wood tee shot on the 2nd hole. You kept saying the hole was a dogleg to the right with the wind going right to left but it certainly looked like it was a dogleg left…was it an optical illusion or was I just totally mistaken? It's amazing how solidly you hit the ball when you go thru a swing tutorial while playing. That horrible horseshoe was really bad luck!👍
Excellent tutorial…….more please Andy on short game!
Really well done video Andy, but I think you failed tip 4 the bump and run. Probably because you're a very low handicap you don't have the same respect for the bump and run that many of us do. On these low, short (less than 40 yards) shots, you don't want to hinge those wrists, the height of the backswing is generated by body pivot like a pendulum with rotation added at the end to be facing the target. Once the technique becomes comfortable, then it's a matter of distance from you to the landing zone, and from the landing zone to the hole (thus a 6 iron may be correct)
Keep them coming 👏
One of your best ever Andy. So many important tips in 20 mins. 3 things I took away from it. When I started playing 2 years ago, as my swing was developing, I struggled with 3 wood off the ground. Replaced it with TaylorMade SIM 2 Hybrid to get that feeling of hitting down more. It became a favorite club. 3 wood is back in the bag now as the use of the SIM helped me hit the 3 wood better. 8 iron bump and run is a go to for me. Driving improved once I got the feeling of turning my back to target and slowing down the back swing. Really good video. Thanks 👍🏌️⛳🤠
Carter when you do the chip and runs do you set up like a normal chip or do you set up toe down?
awesome lessons . you switch to cobras andy?
Great content Andy. Useful tips on shot variation around the green and the 8/9 iron bump and run I feel is a must have shot for most mid/high handicappers. I hear lots of talk about soft hands when chipping/pitching etc. so would be very interested to hear your thoughts on how grip pressure affects these shots?
Nice foot wedge/putter, keep up the awesome content 🍻👍🙃
As always Andy great content, lots of great tips to practice with.
Cracking vids really like content, keep it coming the matches and lessons. Thanks cracking 👍👍
Good stuff, Andrew. Mind you, the little chip&run with your 8i is something that needs to be practiced. I wouldn't advise anyone to try it out first time on the course without having practiced it beforehand.
Thanks!! Wondering what you suggest. I have an old off the shelf Dunlop loco set of clubs. The driver and woods were more like fishing rods so i binned them and I just use the irons 4-pw, some second hand wedges and a hybrid club. Would you suggest I invest in a driver and learn to hit it or keep playing without a driver for a while?
Andy I tried that less tilt yesterday and was striping it down the middle of the fairway now if I could only hit my irons wedges and putts
Thank you Andy, love the videos, keep up the good work
I’ve always said that good golf is just a series of happy coincidences 👍🏻
Nice to be back in the U.K. eh? 😂 🌧️
