  1. I was at his first Manchester Derby.

The City fans were deafening. It was incredible. Until Beckham scored that 2nd minute free-kick.

  2. Good player too.

    Brilliant channel.
Bryan Robson is my favourite Utd player ever ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  3. Great interview Liam and John. Wes comes over as being a top bloke and he was a great player. That hurts me saying that being a Liverpool fan. Looking forward to your next guest whoever that may be.

  4. I've heard a few players interviewed and they said Wes as a kid was top top. I've forgotten who as I've watched that many podcasts… two different ppl saying they knew he was going to the top and he was the best player. He is humble as you like. A great laddie.

When I used to watch English football it was when players like him were playing. The golden age of English football for me. Not this mercenary age of players from all over the world who care not a jot for the teams that drastically overpay them now…..

  5. Watched plenty of P/casts with so many diff X players.None of whom except Scholes.Have been so humble.

  6. That was one of the best podcast interviews I've ever seen. Wes Brown not only a United legend in my book but what a great talker as well.

  7. I keep saying GOLD!!! As a United fan for nearly 70 years Wes totallly comes across as the guy you always thought he would be – if that makes sense. Keep them coming guys.

  8. Another great episode, John and Liam, Wes was a very underrated player by some but he very rarely let United down and he was so unlucky with injuries during his career. Rio and Vidic were an unbelievable central defensive partnership so that was what he was up against as well. I thought John's line about having to take Wes's pulse because he's so laid back was a belter, typical of our Scottish sense of humour. Well done boys I've told everyone on my Facebook and Twitter pages to check you out so hopefully you'll get a few more subscribers to your quality podcast, I love all this listening to people in the game and how all of their experiences compare or not as is sometimes the case, I lap this stuff up. God bless and keep the quality content coming. Can you try and get Duncan Ferguson on lads as although I'm not a Rangers man what happened to him with the Sottish FA over the John McStay incident and him going to jail was scandalous I'd love to here his take on it, plus he's a legend at Everton and Newcastle and a top, top man and I think he'd be brilliant as a guest.

  9. How good would Wes Brown be with younger players coming through, keeping them on the straight and narrow and not letting it go to their heads. Class act.

  10. Getting boring this. Another absolutely brilliant episode. Always enjoyed watching Wes play. I loved how the dirty underhand โ€œ7 questions, oh sorry have 7 on my mindโ€ comment was just totally blanked by Wes ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Great show guys.

  11. This channel deserves more views and subscribers! It's class! Another brilliant enjoyable podcast ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  12. Another fantastic interview boys, i am sure I saw ice forming on his forehead, he is some cool character and the same on the golf course. I am a blue and I hate to say this but united where unstoppable at times under sir Alex. Keep up the good work boys ๐Ÿ˜€๐ŸŒ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  13. I've always thought with wes brown if it wasn't for his injuries what he would of gone on to do was a brilliant no nonsense defender and his season at rb in 08 was unbelievable played a massive part in what we did that year

  14. Wes was a class act at Sunderland, just a massive shame he missed so much through injury. Hard as nails aswell which goes a little unnoticed. Great interview lads, keep them coming.

  15. As a United fan this was a real treat, such an underrated player Wes was. Great interview lads๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  16. How can a hard man at football be such a gentleman off field? As a City fan I always respected Wes Brown as he was never the star performer but his relentless work ethic allowed others to show their skills. Great insight to United's successful times.

  17. What another excellent interview you two have done, and wasn't Wes a really good bloke. Keep it up, gentlemen. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  18. Superb interview lads what a laid back honest gent is Wes Brown this series just superb ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  19. Enjoyed that Liam, quality guest again. Wes came across really well, measured in his responses and grounded. Good role model for youngsters to learn from.

  20. Thought this was gonna be a tough watch at first, but once wez settled in it was class. Really enjoyed that.

  21. absolute pleasure to have you guys you sang all match even when you were losing 3-4 nil, can't fault the support and love the gentry day idea I think every team should have one to remember loved ones it's really poignant" I've always thought Preston was salt of the earth like the boro just good down to earth people who love they're football" middlesbrough gets a bad name and press for minority morons but 99% are sound as a pound so again well done lads and I've subbed to your channel and will be watching your journeys, so until we meet again at Deepdale or the Riverside next season boys๐Ÿค๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ#UTB

  22. Remember playing against wes brown when. He was playing for is high school Burnage high school we battered them 9-1. Alan Griffin was better than him in the youth team but he couldn't be bothered turning up.

  23. Love these Liam first love is football and love hearing it first hand!!! John is a gem but before my time but great guy โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
