Gator Football’s SHOCKING Schedule Update! Two POWERHOUSES to the Swamp in 2024?!

Florida Gator fans have had MIXED feelings on the 9 game SEC schedule with potential new annual rivalries, but we have some EXCITING news about the 2024 HOME Schedule that we’re pumped about if the SEC does finalize it.

Right now, the plan for the 2024 season is for both of the new SEC additions (Texas and Oklahoma) to come to Gainesville for matchups with the Gators INSIDE of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

We’ve been told this has not been 100% finalized but it is what is anticipated and expected by those inside the building and close to the UF program. Until the SEC schedule is finalized, things can certainly change but this would be quite the pair of matchups for the Gators next season.

This would be big for the Gators when it comes to recruiting, ticket sales, and the overall fan experience during the 2024 season. Billy Napier and his team would certainly be on the national stage a couple of times with powerhouses like Texas and Oklahoma coming to the Swamp for game.

Texas and Oklahoma are playing their FINAL season in the Big 12 in 2023 and will be full time members of the SEC in 2024.

We also learned a nugget on the 9 game schedule that the SEC has proposed and it’s GOOD NEWS for Gator fans.

  1. I think college football recruiting is broken and needs a system like the nfl draft where the top talent is spread among all the other schools not just the same teams . How can any fan base celebrate beating teams will far inferior talent

  2. This would put UF and The Swamp in the spotlight. Instant program elevation! Just what the program needs to kickstart 200M in BHGS renovations 🤗
Great video. Looking forward to more content.

  3. There are multiple Gators' greedy insiders who won't let people read their inside reports and I thank you for giving us an inside report for free. Anyway, I think it would be neat to play Texas, Oklahoma, FSU, and Miami in the same season. So, congratulations on a fast success, and Go Gators 😎🐊🎉🎉🎉🎉

  4. Ali this is going to freaking awesome!! Which of the games for the 2024 season are you looking forward to attending?😬

  5. Think UCF should stay on schedule. Even when it's switched to 3 out of conference teams per year. Gators should bump out Sanford. Playing UCF and Miami at home, and FSU at Doak will provide a season that Florida plays all Florida Power 5 schools especially now that UCF is in the Big 12. It'll test Florida in potentially proving they could be the state's powerhouse which can help recruiting. But I also see UF bumping UCF off not because they are "scared" to face them but because of the monetary agreement with Sanford for them to play UF. Playing Sanford is to provide their program with money, and compared to UCF, UCF doesn't need the money. I'd hate to bump off UCF because then UCF fans are gonna argue that we are "too scared" to face them 😒

  6. The best gator podcast ever!!! If you are a true Gator fan you have to subscribe to this podcast!

  7. Thanks for the news, it will be nice to get these teams early in their SEC transition. They won’t be ready for them Gators!!!

  8. I wish Mertz well. He’s a classy guy. Hard worker. Just needs consistency. Better receivers and pass protection will help him, if Florida an do it.

  9. Love your enthusiasm and presentation. Much easier to watch the any of the other Podcasts. And I agree with you UGA, VOLS and LSU would be my pick for 3 teams to play every year.

  10. You are great. One thing, when you’re reading stats and other particulars it’s pretty obvious. Unlike When you are speaking from the heart. It might help your camera presence to move your notes to right under the camera so your eyes can quickly review without leaving the screen. Go Gators.

  11. I continue to appreciate your most informative sports channel and spirited enthusiasm. Your highly professional style reminds me of ON3’s J. D Pickell and I hold your work in highest regard as I do for David Waters of Gators Breakdown and Shelton Walker of Hightop Sports. You have become my go to channel for Gators sports information.

    Thank you Ali
