  1. I choose Palmer as well, but I think he’s been injured the whole season, and is playing through pain like an absolute legend!

  2. Agree with majority of this team tbf. I would have Cleworth in their over Tunnicliffe and Davies over Lee for a couple of reasons. 1. Because his ability to score goals is huge for us and something we’ve missed this season (20+ goals for a midfielder is great at any level). 2. He is better in the air than Lee and gives us an additional target from set pieces.

Also think you were a bit harsh on Bickerstaff. He played 10 mins against Sheffield Utd so can’t judge him on that at all. In his 2 starts this season he has 3 goals (against NL opposition) so he can’t do much more as a young player. Look back at his 2nd goal vs Alty and you will see he has some decent pace getting away from 2 or 3 defenders to score.

  3. Good subjective analysis.
    Great to have quality choices.
Bickerstaffe good potential.O'Connor is class same as Lee.Cleworth has gone off the boil lately not focused enough.
Palmer still good but Dalby is in form and gets the nod.
Need cover for Mullin as without him the dynamic is massively different.
Barnett and Forde playing together gives us pace, which wins matches at this level.Hayden,Tozer and Tunnicliffe all day,Tunni needs to be more accurate with unpressured clearances hit the channel for Mulls.
Andy Cannon once confident will be a game changer he's got it but a couple of clubs lost patience.
Luke Young imperious and JD on his day is Championship class.
Kai Evans great potential learning all the time.Lainton over Mark Howard but Laino needs to be more dynamic when commanding his box he's a big lad and should punch and gather more.

  4. Can not argue with that but dalby is on fire and Palmer works well and honestly think once his confidence is up he's gonna be a handful

  5. Absolutely agree with your choice jebbo except I would pick Dalby over palmer and honestly think that is the best 11

  6. Palmer us and has been paying hurt. That’s arrested his confidence. Even at 75% he’s one of the top 9s in the league. Gaffer can’t afford to sit him, which is what he needs. If Hayden comes back, you can afford to rest him. He’s the arial threat we are missing. Ik he’s defensive but is deadly on set pieces.

  7. With a lot of new players not getting a lot of game time through injuries etc, we've potentially not seen our best first 11 yet

  8. Same here palmer. just seems to be off form at moment and not much going right for him. I dont take this injury that supporters mention, as a excuse for his performances. All strikers have a bad spell, but he just got the experience and know how and is still a pain in the arse for defenders even when in a bad spell.
