You get treated like royalty (literally), money is absolutely no object, you're on international television, and you can even get your photo taken with Ronaldo and Mike Tyson. What's not to love! I will make one genuinely serious point though. The undercard was very impressive. It was full of young and motivated boxers from Turkey, America, Dagestan, Georgia etc. All well paid to put their obsessive "Zero" on the line, have even and very competitive fights, and there was a lot of very well matched fighters who we may have never have heard of, but at least put on a good show. Compare that to the dross on the undercards on Sky and BT where they care less because they know nobody watches anything apart from the main card, so why bother with any other bouts.
What next for O'hara Davies??? OD. Credit to both lads last night though Russ, good fight that and even though he got stopped, Lewis Ritson was taking some big shots and still coming back for more 🥊
