I for one, would not care at all if both Merab and Aljo were cut for being boring. I would add Curtis Blaydes. I wandered outside for a joint in round two… I came back and nothing had changed. Luckily, I watch the prelims second, that way I am never disappointed. Dana only has to offer them both the fight three times and they are gone, and he will.
To be honest during a takedown is the most protected a fighter can be. 12-6 elbows should be allowed. It would give fighters a better defense against those slow takedowns also the audience would get a better fight .
I doubt Aljo will have the belt for long anyways.

1 – Congrats Merab he has the best cardio in UFC he had a strategy and executed it ideally, to win against Yan and outstrike him is an excellent performance
2 – Do not underestimate Yan he defended 38 takedown attempts, he is a high-level fighter it is just in this competitive division Merab is better
3 – He mentioned that he is against the war and to say it is incorrect and political clearly has not experienced war in his/her country, you have to address something when it takes human lives every day, so chill. It is not like he is talking about where taxpayers money goes or which party you should vote for.
If it lasted longer than jones fight then it wasn’t as boring as jelly rolls grab ass fight.

Let's be real for a second. The UFC rules favor the wrestler and is the main reason why they are able to be dominant. I've been a fan of the organization since the beginning and have realized that the rules set in place will not allow fighters within the organization to grow there styles into elite statues do to always having to compensate towards the rules set to benefit the wrestler. If we look at organizations that allow head stumps and head kicks to a grounded opponent it shows exactly why the wrestler is dominant in the ufc. Simply because he can end up in very dangerous situations but benefits from the rules nullifying the threat that would be there naturally without the rule.

Merab’s fights are so boring. I will never watch them again. I can go to a wrestling meet if I want to see that. Just not my thing.
