So interesting to hear this story, particularly as part of a run up to a winning world cup campaign. I asked Charlie Morgan and Brian Moore in a podcast last year, about the value of a settled team, and Brian answered that it was really important. As Matt and Lawrence in particular seem to say however, you really can have a fair bit of disruption in the years and months leading up to a world cup and still come good. That said, I'm pretty sure this current England squad are out of contention this time.
