The bottom 3/4 of the teams in the big 10 are all arguably among the very worst teams in college football, power 5 or otherwise. So for PennState to beat up on garbage teams and then get blown out by Michigan and Ohio state every year, that does not make them a good team.

Agree about following recruiting vs draft. It's usually somewhere around Christmas that I'm so fed up with the endless ridiculousness that is the mock draft, that just hearing the term makes me change the channel, or close the page.They're like opinions and assholes…everybody has one, and they update them relentlessly.
As a side note, it's hilarious to imagine the worst team in college ball getting the #1 rated player out of high school in any kind of draft system. It would be crazy.

I am against both of these transfer/NIL; it takes the game to a JV NFL level instead of a playing for your team level; after all not ALL players go on to the NFL or frankly want too.

You overdid it saying Marshall wasn’t good. Absolutely ND should expect to beat Marshall every time, comfortably beat them most of the time. But the Herd were loads better and tougher than the Stanford team Freeman lost to later in the year.

Sam Hartman is going from the most gimmicky offense sense the wildcat to probably something vanilla and/or way less innovative. I don’t think Notre Dame will get the same quarterbacking from Sam Hartman that Wake Forest got. Jordan Burch about to go from playing SEC lineman to PAC-12 lineman. He should dominate at Oregon.
