Don't agree with either Curran or Perry on Kraft being an obstacle to getting Lamar. Kraft would give up 1st round picks if Lamar is the guy to bring the Pats into the picture again as serious SB contenders. Kraft wants to keep the championship winning going and he knows Belichick's coaching window could close at any time. Mac just does not have the skill set of a Mahomes or an Allen and could Mac give up his body like Trevor Lawrence did against KC in the division playoff game when he got pancaked by Khalen Saunders in that game! Mac would have been taken off the field in a stretcher!
Mac is done as a Pat. Let's not forget about Zappe. If these two are the only QBs this summer in training camp, Belichick is going to give Zappe every chance to win the starting job, and Zappe will. Plus Zappe is stouter than Jones – can take a hit. Trade Mac to Tampa for Mike Evans and a couple of conditional draft picks!

I think Aaron Rodgers coming to the Jets changes things for the Patriots. We really don’t have quite enough firepower to compete with the Bills and Dolphins. We definitely would not have anywhere near enough firepower to take on those teams plus the Jets with Rodgers. With Rodgers coming to NY, it’s time to now go get Lamar.
