    ref can decide who will win, does not matter if they are good or not in that particular game. since no one can question ref decision. they should add additional ref who can pass final decision, and 2 refs must decide not just 1, 1 ref's decision can be a bias

    It’s obvious that the refs never privilege a Canadian team in their calls. They even go to shameful lengths to hinder our opportunities to win games. The raptors are always on the bad ends of calls and it leads other teams to shoot more free throws than us and puts our best players in foul troubles and even get them ejected for a comment. Very frustrating for Raptors fan. It’s very American to have a corrupt and cheating system to allow its elite to thrive at the expense of « lesser » entities

    NBA are too often way too lenient on refs. I didn't watch this game so can't come to a conclusion on how I thought it was officiated but players I believe should be able to criticise without being fined. Now maybe if you start insulting the refs and what not then a fine may be warranted but saying a ref was terrible is hardly worth a fine. And the Refs Union will just say oh we make mistakes too. That's bs

    Refs make me feel uneasy about the integrity of the games.
    As a Kings fan, seeing bad ref calls or no-calls bring me back to the 02 WCF against the Lakers where it was admitted that it was in the leagues best interest to add another game to the series.

    Im glad VanVleet is speaking up on this, however he may need to watch out because I think Deaaron Fox mentioned it as well and got in trouble

    Honestly, I appreciate that he named names and said his piece. I think old heads are driving this “players are entitled” narrative, but this type of stuff where there are nuanced situations that develop over time between refs and certain players is not new and needs to be corrected. Otherwise the “refs are cheating” stuff doesn’t sound so crazy. And not to mention, DONAGHY MENTIONS SCOTT FOSTER (among other refs) BY NAME as being part of the betting scandal and he is still out there calling playoff games.
