  1. Hey Steve – this might help some people – once I got over 150 club speed I started pull hooking every shot – I had to change the timing of my transition – how I did that was to actually as soon as I took the club back – literally by the time the club head is just about to pass my right foot I "drop down" like straight down no other thought – your body will automatically do the "heave" your referring too – when I was trying to heave I just kept over spinning and ended up not hitting the ball flush – with the drop down move – I went from a smash factor of about 1 right back to where I previously was at 1.45 – 1.6 – the chair is really helpful, but if someone has back issue or tight hips – dropping down might help them "feel" what they need to feel for the transition.

Once you get used to the dropping down feeling you can being to ad more of a "heave" to it to try and speed it up, but it's one of those things unless your working with someone directly some ppl will understand drop down better.

  2. For a heavy club, go to my favorite golf tool stores, Home Depo or Lowes, and buy a long sledgehammer. Swing that, requires one to do what a 50 lb club would do.

  3. Take an old club/sandwedge…Go out to an empty field…and practice flinging the club straight in front or slightly right…as far as you can…you have to release EARLY to get it straight…worked for me.

  4. My move is pushing of the right big toe, pull together and forwards the right side in transition and then throw the clubhead with the backhand frisbee motion.

  5. OMG!!! Your best video yet!!! Thank you! Question: How many of those seat backs have you worn out with your rump??? lol Again, great description! Keep em coming!

  6. I actually discovered this morning that if I am too caffeinated, my tempo gets too quick (obviously) and my arms disconnect from my chest and want to do the work when I know damn good and well they need to get dragged by my torso as you described.

  7. Hi Steve, good stuff as always. Love the heave of a medicine ball although in Oz, heave has more to do with rapid expulsion of partially digested food! How does the pizza box fit with the wham drill? cheers, jks

  8. Now i know , where word " heivaa, heivata" comes in finnish language. In finnish it means to move something out , furniture, people etc. Great lesson again. 😊
