  1. Looks like a genuinely great product that produces the goods. Like choosing between a VW and an Audi.

  2. Tried this a few days ago with 130-135 club head speed (Carbon), 1500-1700 rpm spin on some shots at almost full speed – so for sure a LS driver (at least for me)

  3. Good on Wilson, for having a contender in the market.
Wilson has had some great irons in the past and great success on tour back in the day.
    Very underrated brand.

  4. This is so awesome. I started playing golf before CBs were invented and THE clubs to play were Wilson blades, and I played with them. I was dreadfully inconsistent but always hit one pure strike that made me believe I could hit another and the other 3 hours of pain was worth it. Their woods (I had a 1w, 3w and 4w in the Staff Block series) were the equal of any of the time too. To see Wilson being talked about as a real player in the equipment arena again, and for it to be justifiable, warms my heart. I may well look at replacing my G410 this year and the DynaPower has to be in the mix, along with some Staff CBs to replace my 10yr old TM PSi irons. Happy days ☺

  5. For us mid to high handicapped players, the yardage between different brands are neglegable. If Wilson can save us some money, good on them but I have no doubt that there will be some snobs that will overlook it. Personally my whole club set are G425 but I will be willing to buy elsewhere when I want to buy a new driver, woods etc.

  6. @txgxccgolf Given all the great content you guys produce around club fitting, I think it would be incredible if you made a series of instructional videos geared towards teaching people who are interested in becoming club fitters themselves. Keep up the great work team!

  7. Wow!!! This driver came out of nowhere!! Congrats to Wilson….cant wait to see it in the bracket!!! Great review!!!

  8. Just watched a re run of the playoff of the open with Harrington and Garcia and Harrington won with the Wilson’s. Haven’t they got the most majors outta all the brands? Txg and Rick shiels reviews are the top dawgs with reviews. Don’t need to see any more now. Thanks guys.

  9. Wilson should have kept this at its true price point of a sub £200 driver but were too afraid of the golfing snobbery of “low price = sub standard” and wouldn’t sell to fit into the mantra of club bragging on the tee. The RRP has put them in the firing line of the the second hand market of the so called big guns. The depreciation of this driver will be massive IMO which is a shame cause Wilson have nailed it in terms of performance but have put it in an awkward price bracket range.

  10. I saw kisner put the 3wood in the bag so I had to check this thing out. Hopefully see some of the Wilson guys eventually put more in play besides their irons

  11. I think one of the biggest problems with Wilson is their marketing. It's like they don't want their products to sell. I've never once seen a Wilson golf commercial like EVER. The average golfer probably has no clue they even make golf clubs.

  12. YALL NEVER REVIEWED THE D9 forged irons! Would love if y’all went back and gave those a look!!

  13. Usually a lefty sleeve is just a re-marked righty sleeve. If you use the opposite sleeve, the loft changes will work opposite of the marks. But the lies work the same as the marks or charts either way. ie Upright on a lefty sleeve is also upright if you put that shaft in a righty head or vice versa.

  14. Good for wilson. Always had a soft spot for them coming from having gamed their tennis racquets growing up. In today's day and age where everything's mass produced, any difference is probably fairly minimal.

  15. Very surprised by the sound, comes across great. Good looking driver , good example of less is more and seems competitive. We'll done Wilson.

  16. Seen tons of reviews about these drivers and not one person has said a bad word. This could be one of the best sellers of the year in it's "bracket". Well done Wilson and thanks TXG

  17. Seen one in person, beautiful club. Funny how $500 is now considered a “value” price. May be going into the bag this year.

  18. I’m in the market for a new driver but I, not spending $800 Canadian. Id love to see how the Wilson compares to previous ping,Taylor made etc models.

  19. I feel Wilson should have started their own golf club line with a different name. Yes, I know Wilson clubs date back as far as any other company, but it’s not exclusive with golf. You look at the big 3 companies (Taylormade, Callaway and Titleist) in the industry and all they do is golf. Then you have companies like PXG. I used to play with a set of MacGregor VIP blades and they were as good as they looked. But when I think of Wilson, I think of a Wilson basketball I have, or one of my first baseball gloves. I also feel the same way with MacGregor. I see a football sold at Walmart for $7.99.

  20. Have the Wilson v6 tour forged in the bag for the last 5 years…cant see me replacing them any time soon either…Great iron….👍

  21. It's amazing seeing Wilson getting the recent exposure it has been, very well deserved have been a solid brand for such a long time. I've been using the C300 Forged for a couple of years now and easily the best irons I've had so far. Looking forward to trying the new Dynapower driver!

  22. I would love to see the more forgiving model, the titanium dynapwr.
