  1. How do you monitor it on irons? I’ve tried foot sprays that work great on drivers but when I hit the turf with an iron the grass wipes almost all of it off.

  2. Do you think the Flightscope Mevo Plus face impact software would be a beneficial purchase in this case? If so what specific drills would you recommend to improve consistency. Also when's the next Muppet Tour 😂🤣😂🤣

  3. Surely having better swing mechanics will improve strike and repeatability

  4. This is so huge. I've wasted so much time playing with path and face and trying to hit cuts and draws, and all sorts of other mechanics. About a month ago I got militant about just focusing on ball first contact in the center of the club face. That's made more difference than the last 6 months of practice.

  5. Makes a lot of sense, Mark. Though your guide on how to start with strike and work backwards and would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  6. I can tell you that Mark has been saying “strike is key / king” for several years, and when I started concentrating my range sessions on hitting the middle I improved quickly from a 25 to an 18 handicap.. I’m still stuck at 18 for other reasons lol, but focusing on strike has made the biggest and fastest improvement to my game.

  7. I think one needs to get the swing good first. Key to consistency is a consistent proper swing. Then hitting the middle of face becomes timing on release and how far you stand from the ball. For me, not bending the left elbow is a main factor for consistency. Not bending the wrist from start until release made a huge difference. Strating the swing down from the top starts with the left leg and hips. Loose grip at release with a lot of lag.
Timing of release will dictate low middle high. how close or far will dictate toe, middle or heel. Proper lie angle won't hurt either, once you get a good swing. If you bending you elbow and your wrists, you just created two more hinges that have to be timed.
