Blackburn deserved to win this match. However, missing Anel Ahmedzodvic was key for you.
He would have stopped Dolan running riot and almost certainly caused problems for Pickering. The Blades are a good team and you will likely go up this year. Blackburn fan here, not looking forward to the cup game at Brammall Lane (we’ll lose).

Once again it's a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's parade'…. our 11pt advantage is dissolving quicker than an Alka-Seltzer dropped in a glass of water.

A story of missed chances for United and Blackburn
On any other day, this could have finished 4 – 4 and wouldn't have been an unfair result.
I'm not overly disappointed with the performance but I'd be a liar if I said the result didn't hurt.
We gave the ball away far too easily, always cleared the ball to a Blackburn player, and failed to take our chances. Hopefully we can solve this quickly, really don't want to look back on this season having lost a fantastic opportunity for promotion.
Better than I remembered watching live.

We must do better if we want to play premiere league football next season although I must say we can't be great week in and week out. That's why this division in my opinion is the toughest in the world. We simply have to get 3 points against Reading to regain our 7 point advantage over the chasing pack C"MON YOU BLADES 👏💪👏
Not as bad as I expected considering the comments I've heard, but maybe the highlights flattered us. Other than a rocky start to the second half we seemed to play fairly well, on another day we'd have converted 3 of those chances. Just wasn't our day on the day against another team at the top of the table, it happens, we can't expect to win them all. Hopefully we can take 3 points from our game in hand against Reading on Tuesday and reestablish our 7 point lead, still plenty to play for.
