The USGA is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, serves and advances the game of golf. Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

  1. Yes USGA! And please work with the NCAA to be unified in allowing our US players to continue their development in our US universities instead of filling the rosters with players from junior national team members of other countries.

  2. This gives me hope that USGA can keep the game of golf open and fair to all and not the financially advantaged. Not sure partnering with AJGA is the right partner though as they are set up as a 501c3 that is advantageous to the wealthy and academies and not to the less financially advantaged. If they follow the AJGA model of moving supposed talented players forward it is destined to fail.

  3. Thank you for starting this program ++ we have several talented junior golfers in our program – Tee Divas & Tee Dudes Golf Club — please reach out to local neighborhoods.
