I just rewatched MJ hall of fame speech: MJ gave Scotty the most respected genuine praise, the very first thing MJ said was you didn’t just see me, you saw SCOTTY PIPPEN ! Every championship that I won ! And Scotty when the camera showed him, was BEAMING with pride! When MJ played with flu, it was Scotty who very nearly carried him off the court. In many games he was the bettwr player. And in most games he provided what was missing from what MJ was doing. MJ was not as complete a player as Bird or Magic. Pippen had qualities which complemented the duo. Still MJ is the greater player and candidate for goat.
Hey Scottie, why did it take you 4 years to make an all star game? I am sure you wasn't learning a thing from the GOAT during those first 4 years until you finally made an all star game. It took you 4 years of learning from the GOAT. If you were so great then why did you refuse to go back onto the court during the playoffs against the Knicks because someone else was going to get the last second shot? Talk about selfish.
