I don’t dislike LIV because of where the money comes from or any of the other propaganda that NPC’S spout online. But I’m not into it right now because it feels as if the LIV player’s have fallen off the face of the earth. I miss watching the best of the best play against each other.
I predict right now that LIV will not be around after the 4 year’s of players contracts are up. They are backed by an investment fund and will NOT make any money so it will fall away.
If playing a better ball gets you distance and spin it will help. Ultimately if you are losing 10 balls a round… probably chill. once you are losing 3-4 than it's reasonable to play a ball that is better. If you don't care about losing a few dollars during the round… than clearly the ball leaves performance on the table. Another thing that Frankie isn't considering is there are balls out there like VICE. that you can get for a fantastic value to performance. Someone fighting to break 90 probably shouldn't buy PRO V1's and TP5s but they sure as hell should go for Vice Pro's for half the price and just as much ball.
If an amateur plays a ball that they don't have the swing speed to compress it won't be beneficial to them.

The golf ball matters for everyone that can make contact. It doesn’t matter how good you are. Your spin rate matters as Frankie saw at the kingdom. Too much spin makes your flight too high and you will hit the ball shorter and more offline. I played with this muscular guy that had a beer belly as a kid. He hit the ball so fricken high that he never knew which club to hit. It was because his attack angle and his spin was way too high.
