  1. It’s interviews like this that further validate the talent and journalism being presented by The FirePit Collective. Getting first hand, timely information from players in the midst of the action validates the format and team assembled. I appreciate the authentic and genuine structure of The FirePit. The sky is the limit for you all!

  2. Not true anymore. Please tell the whole truth. The PGA has already changed the no money thing. If you have a tour card you are guaranteed $500,000 a year.

  3. They hand picked to start the league. Now if you finish in the bottom forth for the year. You are out of the league, and have to qualify back on.
I do like both. I just like watching golf. I just hate arguments without all the information. If you’re going to have a knowledgeable person speaking about the virtues of the PGA you need to have someone there who is knowledgeable about LIV.

  4. He talked for so long to really not say much more than what he had doubts in the beginning that the tour was going to cater to and pay the top guys and hurt the bottom and the middle tour guys and ended with they showed me a graph that said it might not be as bad as you think. They may only get a little screwed and the fans get to see more of the non top 70 players they like play non top tier golf like Billy and Ricky. Other players Unions have to worry about ownership whose focus is making a great product for fans and generating more money. The PGA players said forget the fans just give us more money for the guys at the top who are they guys in the room. Just means I will watch less golf. No more every week maybe 10-12 events and never going to a non designated field event.

  5. Thanks for the interview….when asked about the no cut proposal that the PGA Tour are taking, Peter went off talking about LIV to some extent. The issue still remains, as a designed event & therefore a no cut event will they get 'world ranking points' which has been an issue for LIV Golf. Is the PGA Tour in private talks with say the OWGR to revise no cuts criteria? Personally I think the TUGR makes far more sense as a ranking system. The SI ranking system looks like the OWGR in my mind so no great gain there.

  6. It's great that @PGATour has developed their own plan and their own ideas and not simply being reactive and copying what @LIVGolf is doing. Btw, does Peter Malnati look and act like the ultimate company man? Wow!
