  1. Whats crazy is how Kareem played 4 years in college. makes you wonder if he came straight from high school whatd his total career points would be

  2. If Jordan would have played that long no one would have broken his record. Jordan made 3rd all-time scoring leader in 15 years with that being said just imagine adding another 5 years.

  3. If im being honest I cant call lebron the all time leading scorer yet because combing regular seasson and playoffs would make much more sense if your saying most points in a "career"

  4. I honestly feel like theres only three people with the chance of beating it later on. Curry (21,183) if he stays healthy and plays until he's at most 42-43 probably even less, Giannis (15,885) if he was to become very consistent in his 3pt shot since he already dominates the paint so well, and Luka (8,721) there's not really anything he can do better when it comes to scoring but if he was to play defense a lil harder those fast break points will really come to help him in the end. I know Luka may be kind of a hot take but he's only 24 avg about 2k pts a year (this is currently his fifth season I think) so if he was to keep producing these kind of numbers for another 10-15 seasons without getting a serious performance hindering injury (ex. PG13, Russ, Derrick Rose, etc.) he will be either very close or already passing it.

  5. There is one factor not included in this video: the evolution of medicine. In the 80’s an acl tear was a career ender now it’s only a season ender. It’s definitely not going to be easy to break the record and may it be near impossible with today’s medicine. But in the future with better medical staff increasing longevity, an era of high scoring, and an all time great talent. The chances are truly not terrible.

  6. You talk about him like he’s the Goat, why not just call him that already? What else does the man have to don

  7. Any chance there has been some “performance enhancing” going on?🤔

  8. I remember being more than a LeBron hater and a big Jordan fan but I mean love him or hate him, you just can’t imagine anyone else is gonna be averaging 30 7 and 7 at the age of 38.

  9. Crazy how Wilt only played 14 seasons and accumulated the amount of points he did. If he carried that passion for the game for a few more season, he may actually have held a legit untouchable record.

  10. I don't know why but I feel like Luka might break his record in his career. The reason is, Luka has started at around the age of 19.5 while LeBron started at the age of 18. The starting age gap isn't that big and Luka is having the best average in the NBA right now.

  11. I swear one dumbass in 2006 just said “he’s not a scorer” and everyone just agreed until he broke the record lmao when you break it down it’s wild how under the radar this record was

  12. Another crazy fact including playoff points lebron has the third highest points per shot taken out of the top 10 all time scorers only KD and malone surpass him
